Overview: Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan is currently seeking a Sr. Talent Acquisition Consultant to assist in the support of our IT division.&nbsp; The ideal candidate will have previous IT recruiting and account management experience.&nbsp; We are seeking a turn-key individual tasked with relationship building of our internal client customers, as well as full lifecycle recruiting efforts.&nbsp; If you are looking to join a dynamic talent acquisition team and meet the requirements below, we are ready to meet with you!
Responsibilities: <p>Under general supervision in accordance with company policy, EEO guidelines and sound human resources practices, sources, screens and secures candidates for mid-management, technical, senior technical and professional level positions.&nbsp; In conjunction with other talent acquisition team members, develops and executes tactical sourcing strategies aimed at securing candidates that meet diversity and overall recruiting goals and hiring plans.&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Serves as liaison between hiring managers and candidates throughout the interview and selection process.&nbsp;</li> <li>Manages the candidate experience throughout the process.</li> <li>Provides high level of customer service to hiring managers and candidates to ensure that open positions are filled in a timely and cost effective manner.</li> <li>Uses consultative strategies and best-in-class talent acquisition practices with hiring managers to understand business needs and develop recruiting strategies that will source and secure qualified candidates.</li> <li>Presents, negotiates and finalizes offers to candidates using discretion and independent judgment.</li> <li>Sources candidates through cost effective sourcing methods such as cold calling, networking, internet mining, and candidate pipeline development while staying within the departmental budget.&nbsp;</li> <li>Builds recruiting networks through attendance at job fairs, college/intern recruiting fairs and HR networking events.</li> <li>Coaches, educates, develops and implements behavioral interviewing techniques with hiring managers.</li> <li>Effectively uses BlueTalent e-Recruiting system to track candidates throughout the recruitment process and maintain complete and accurate records for EEO data recording and reporting requirements.</li> <li>Provides ad hoc recruitment reports, statistics and industry information to hiring managers to assist in planning and forecasting of recruitment needs.</li> <li>Perform other related duties as assigned.</li> <li>Other duties may be assigned. <ul> <li>IT recruiting and account management experience in the following areas:</li> <ul> <li>Architecture, Information Security, Infrastructure, Application Development</li> </ul> <li>Applicant Tracking System experience; Taleo preferred</li> <li>Passive recruiting experience including Dice, LinkedIn Recruiter, etc.</li> <li>College / University recruitment experience</li> <li>Intern recruiting</li> <li>Career Services &amp; professor relationship building</li> <li>Vendor Management and Agency experience preferred</li> <li>External event recruiting experience</li> <ul> <li>IT in the D, Pink Slip Parties</li> </ul> <li>Veteran and Differently Abled recruiting experience</li> <li>Extensive Immigration knowledge preferred</li> </ul> </li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, business administration or equivalent.</li> <li>Minimum five (5) years of staffing and recruitment experience is required.</li> <li>Knowledge of human resources/recruiting laws and practices.</li> <li>Demonstrated working knowledge of office software such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.</li> <li>Knowledge of e-recruitment and applicant tracking software.</li> <li>Strong written and verbal communication skills including the ability to communicate professionally and effectively with all parties involved in the staffing process.</li> <li>Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times.</li> <li>Strong customer service and detail orientation, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast paced setting.</li> <li>Other related skills and/or abilities may be required to perform this job.</li> </ul>
