Overview: <br />Responsible for design and development of engaging user experiences for a variety of applications using workshops, creative brainstorms, interaction design, and service design.
Responsibilities: <br /> <ul> <li> <div>Utilize research to develop insights, generate concepts, and understand how people interact with BCBSM products and services.</div> </li> <li> <div>Use system design to ensure problem definition and ideation address the needs and optimize the value across all stakeholders.</div> </li> <li> <div>Conceptualize and lead Design Thinking initiatives and projects, including workshops, user interviews, and creative brainstorms.</div> </li> <li> <div>Develop process flows and wireframes to conceptualize and communicate design strategies.</div> </li> <li> <div>Contribute to the communication of research findings, conceptual ideas, detailed design, and design rationale both verbally and visually.</div> </li> <li> <div>Attend and help plan community events, workshops, and conferences.</div> </li> <li> <div>Explain and discuss design decisions and give design feedback to other team members.</div> </li> </ul>
Requirements: <br /> <ul> <li> <div>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Visual Design or related field required.</div> </li> <li> <div>Five years of in-depth knowledge and experience of Interaction Design and Service Design across varied users, business problems, and devices required.</div> </li> <li> <div>Ability to learn new software quickly.</div> </li> <li> <div>Experience with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, InVision, Axure, Confluence, or JIRA is preferred.</div> </li> <li> <div>Understanding of several areas of specialization within the greater design landscape, including but not limited to Design Research, Visual Design, and Content Design.</div> </li> <li> <div>Ability to create experience maps, user journeys, and service blueprints, interaction models, flows, and wireframes.</div> </li> <li> <div>Familiarity with rapid prototyping methods, ranging from paper sketching to digital prototypes.</div> </li> <li> <div>Strong communication skills and ability to deliver complex information.</div> </li> <li> <div>Advanced analytical, decision making, organizational, and creative thinking.</div> </li> <li> <div>Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively interface with all levels of management.</div> </li> <li> <div>Strong project management skills.</div> </li> <li> <div>Other related skills and/or abilities may be required to perform this job.</div> </li> </ul>
