Competitive Total Compensation Package

Overview: Under general supervision, responsible for physical changes to buildings using design strategies that support corporate goals. Lead the planning of facility projects by working with external service providers to develop project concept, design, budget and scope.
Responsibilities: <ul> <li> <div>Manage interior and exterior capital construction projects and ensure adherence to project timelines, budgets, and contract specifications.</div> </li> <li> <div>Develop initial project budget and construction schedule to meet project goals</div> </li> <li> <div>Lead on-site construction activities with general contractors, sub-contractors, and suppliers which include identifying value-added engineering options.</div> </li> <li> <div>Interact with internal employees and external vendors to ensure efficient project implementation and completion.</div> </li> <li> <div>Provide advice, consultation, and education for the project team and customers.</div> </li> <li> <div>Provide specialized services during the design phase of projects to include constructability analysis, budget estimating, schedule implications, and drawing reviews.</div> </li> <li> <div>Manage the design development of construction documents with architects, and customer while adhering to corporate design standards and practices.</div> </li> <li> <div>Ensure project compliance with all applicable building codes and department environmental health and safety procedures.</div> </li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li> <div>Bachelor's Degree in interior design, architecture, facilities management, engineering, construction management or related field is required.</div> </li> <li> <div>Seven (7) years of related experience is required.</div> </li> <li> <div>Knowledge of furniture systems and AutoCAD is required.</div> </li> <li> <div>Experience participating in budget related activities is preferred.</div> </li> <li> <div>Good organizational, planning, analytical, verbal and written communication skills.</div> </li> <li> <div>Ability to work effectively with limited direction in a team environment.</div> </li> <li> <div>Ability to interact with employees at all levels including senior leadership.</div> </li> <li> <div>Ability to understand and apply building codes and safety regulations.</div> </li> <li> <div>Working knowledge of PC applications (PeopleSoft, Word, Access, Excel, Project etc).</div> </li> </ul> <div id="gtx-trans" style="position: absolute; left: -406px; top: 26px;">&nbsp;</div>
