Overview: <strong>Provides direct support to the Team Leader II on pertinent Key State Accounts and Federal Employee Program projects and activities such as designing, producing, and publishing work flow processes, project plans, and various types of reporting (i.e. financial, administrative, and/or membership). Participates and actively engages in the evaluation, recommendation, project plan implementation and business process improvements opportunities. Supports and provides trend analysis of current customers&rsquo; (local, national, competitor, etc.), membership data, financial impacts (service level agreement and/or performance guarantees) and additional reporting based on our customers line of business and any contractual obligations that Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan is liable to support the Customer on.</strong>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Mentor with the Team Leader II to learn and manage the LivingWell 2019 Campaign program. Learn process flows, project schedule, project plan, reporting, interactions with IT and Customer Service and other Operational areas (i.e. Imaging Support Services, Automated Group Reporting, etc.).</li> <li>Work with Team Leader II from start to finish on the project. In 2019 be prepared to run the project independently on their own.</li> <li>Mentor with Team Leader II to back up any department budget related work. Learn from the Team Leader II how to manage the cost centers for Key State Accounts and the Federal Employees Program.</li> <li>Provide support to the Team Leader II for the monthly VP MPSERS Service Level Agreements (SLAs) report meetings, schedule, project plan, distribution list, SharePoint administration and updating any process flows.</li> <li>Manage the Federal Employees Program Shared Drive site. Reduce the amount of clicks it takes to find pertinent information. Help to organize drive by archiving historical folders and data.</li> <li>SharePoint Administration over the Key State Accounts and Federal Employees Program departments.</li> <li>Identify, plan, develop, modify and implement new or existing reports as assigned. Help to automate any reports currently being received manually by KSA or FEP Account Managers. Work with Team Leader II and IT Support to review these opportunities.</li> <li>Analyze data and information; plan, design and implement analytical projects and studies of the sales and financial markets.</li> <li>Conduct membership trend analysis and ongoing competitive assessment of various business and market segments, customers, prospects, providers and competitors to identify opportunities and threats.</li> <li>Coordinate and provide technical support for membership forecasting, sales planning and sales incentive program.</li> <li>Working with the Team Leader II on the MPSERS Contractors project. Support in the scheduling of interviews, conducting interviews, hiring, termination processes as they become applicable during the contract and search for best practices and budgetary savings possibilities as it relates directly to this project. Plays a supporting role to the Team Leader II.</li> <li>Supports and will back up the Team Leader II whenever the Team Leader II is out of the office.</li> <li>Identify, plan, develop, modify and implement new or existing reports as assigned.</li> <li>Analyze data and information; plan, design and implement analytical projects and studies of the</li> <li>sales and financial markets.&nbsp;</li> <li>Conduct membership trend analysis and ongoing competitive assessment of various business and market segments, customers, prospects, providers and competitors to identify opportunities and threats.&nbsp;</li> <li>Coordinate and provide technical support for membership forecasting, sales planning and sales incentive program.&nbsp;</li> <li>Responsive for qualifying new and existing businesses prospects for BCBSM health care coverage.</li> <li>Other duties may be assigned.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in Business, Mathematics, Information Systems or related area preferred.</li> <li>Two (2) years&rsquo; experience in an analytical, research or management information position in service, health or sales related industry required. Project planning and familiarity with the client server environment preferred</li> <li>Knowledge of competitors, health care pricing and product development, market research methods and techniques, statistical analysis and market planning.</li> <li>Knowledge and use of existing software packages.</li> <li>Strong problem solving, presentation, analytical and communication skills.</li> <li>Other related skills and/or abilities may be required to perform this job.</li> </ul>
