Overview: <p>Our Customer Consulting team is driving innovative health plan solutions that are transforming the way healthcare is delivered for our members. As health plan consultants and customer advocates, we leverage our deep understanding of our group customers&rsquo; data and translate it to actionable insights to help shape the right strategies in support of their healthcare goals. We do this in collaboration with partners across the enterprise in&nbsp; pursuit of one goal; to deliver a customer-centric service model that enables our group customers to provide their employees with the best quality and most cost-effective healthcare experience.</p>
Responsibilities: What you'll do:<br /><br />Serve as a designated BCBSM strategic customer advisor in analyzing&nbsp;and presenting healthcare cost, utilization and industry trend data to external customers in a consultative, solution-focused way.<br /><br />Intimately understand the customers' goals, strategy and philosophy.<br /><br />Collaborate with account management and other internal partners to deliver a customer centric service model to customers.<br /><br />Propose solutions informed by clear understanding of customer&rsquo;s data, culture and business needs.<br /><br />Provide annual customer evaluations, quarterly and / or monthly&nbsp;presentations, and deeper-dive analytics to support customer decisions.<br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br />
Requirements: What you bring:<br /> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Health Care, Information Systems, Statistics or other related field is required. Master's Degree in related field preferred.</li> <li>Four (4) or more years of experience in related field required.</li> <li>Experience presenting to external customers required.</li> <li>Strong communication skills are required to understand, interpret, and communicate ideas.</li> <li>Excellent&nbsp;analytical, organizational, planning and problem-solving skills.</li> <li>Passion for consulting and advising customers.</li> <li>Healthcare background preferred.</li> <li>Health plan benefits consulting experience is&nbsp;a plus.</li> </ul> <br /><br /><br /><em>All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to, among other grounds, race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, gender identity, protected veteran status or status as an individual with a disability.</em>
