Overview: <strong>Accountable for and manages the development, implementation and ongoing maintenance of monthly reports, Dashboards, presentations and other deliverables. Responsible for building relationships with functional areas. This position supports the Director of Operations Performance Management and has responsibility for supporting work efforts that develop within Operations Performance Management, operational continuous improvement efforts and additional initiatives to improve service to our customers.</strong>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Ability to analyze raw data and present in a user-friendly format.</li> <li>Proficient in Excel/Access, including importing/exporting data, use of pivot tables, query building and database design.</li> <li>Demonstrated knowledge/competency to perform data reporting and producing information from conceptual needs.</li> <li>Knowledge and use of SharePoint</li> <li>Attention to detail</li> <li>Monitor metrics&nbsp;for significant deviations from targets</li> <li>Interface with various departments and senior management providing value and support for continuous improvement.</li> <li>Support Portfolio Managers in work flow development and business processes within area(s) to improve customer service, decrease operational costs and improve overall quality.</li> <li>Ensure that expectations are developed, controlled, and executed in a timely manner.</li> <li>Other duties as assigned.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in related field required.</li> <li>Five (5) or more years' experience in related field.</li> <li>Three (3) years project management experience in health plan operations or related field</li> <li>Project Management Professional Certificate preferred.</li> <li>Leadership and/or analytical experience with data, systems, and operations.</li> <li>Knowledge of program management preferred.</li> <li>Excellent analytical, organizational, problem solving, verbal and written communication skills.</li> <li>Knowledge of project management tools and methodologies.</li> <li>Ability to work independently, within a team environment and with multiple priorities.</li> <li>Proficient in current industry standard PC applications and systems (e.g., Access, Excel and Word).</li> <li>Ability to work closely with the technical support team in understanding and resolving systems issues.</li> <li>Ability to develop, implement, and monitor policies and procedures.</li> <li>Other related skills and/or abilities may be required to perform this job.</li> </ul> <p><strong>DEPARTMENT REQUIREMENTS</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Analyst experience required with proven experience in operational analysis, data analysis, and problem resolution type activities.</strong></li> <li><strong>Ability to lead and contribute to process improvement projects.</strong></li> <li><strong>Ability to work closely with the technical support team in understanding and resolving systems issues.</strong></li> <li><strong>Ability to develop, implement, and monitor policies and procedures.</strong></li> <li><strong>Experience with Business Readiness (e.g. Business Processes) preferred.</strong></li> <li><strong>Must be action oriented, quick learner, and ambitious.</strong></li> <li><strong>Must demonstrate initiative, ownership, and accountability.</strong></li> </ul>
