Overview: <p><strong>Responsible for the development of holistic strategies across the Health Care Value (HCV) Levers (Care Management, Utilization Management, Network, Product, Pharmacy, Value Partnerships and Wellbeing) for areas of focus identified by HCV and Health Plan Business (HPB). The resulting strategies will inform the HCV Roadmap to ensure delivery of an integrated package of solutions to address our customers&rsquo; high priority areas of condition-specific claims cost.</strong></p>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Develop holistic strategies for areas of focus identified by HCV/HPB, including determining the scope and size of the problem to be solved.</li> <li>Lead cross-functional workgroups across the HCV Levers (Care Management, Utilization Management, Network, Product, Rx, Value Partnerships and Wellness) to identify root cause and potential solutions.</li> <li>Consult with Product/Program Owners on existing solutions currently supporting the strategy.</li> <li>Identify areas within HCV to be the Initiative Owners and Business Leads to develop/implement each individual solution.</li> <li>Assist the HCV Initiative Owners in shepherding the initiatives through the funding process as part of a holistic strategy.</li> <li>Engage with the Product and Program Solutions team and Corporate Marketing to develop the go-to-market strategy of packaging new offerings with existing offerings to solve customer problems.</li> <li>Monitor customer needs and adjust the strategy and solution set.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in Business, Health Policy or related field required.&nbsp; Master&rsquo;s Degree in related field (MBA or similar) preferred.</li> <li>Two (2) to Five (5) years of experience in strategy, including experience in a leadership role required.</li> <li>Two (2) years of experience in a strategy consulting role in the Health and Life Sciences field is preferred.</li> <li>Excellent analytical, decision making, organizational, creative problem solving, and verbal and written communication/presentation skills, and ability to communicate and build relationships across teams at all levels of the organization and at the executive level</li> <li>Ability to manage multiple projects and to work with internal and external clients to identify needs and develop solutions.</li> <li>Ability to solve complex problems in an ambiguous, unstructured environment.</li> <li>Ability to lead large cross-functional teams and drive change across a complex enterprise.</li> <li>Ability to work independently within a team environment with multiple priorities.</li> <li>Ability to effectively interface with management at all levels as well as vendors and customers outside the organization.</li> <li>Understand and apply basic financial analysis and modeling.</li> <li>High proficiency in use of existing software packages (PowerPoint, Excel, Microsoft Word, etc.)</li> <li>Extensive knowledge of business administration, economics, health care benefits, health care system, project management, public health and other related fields.</li> <li>Other related skills and/or abilities may be required to perform this job.</li> </ul>
