Overview: <br /> <p>Responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining a framework for business continuity plans as part of a corporate program. Assist in executing the business continuity plan when a business interruption occurs.<strong><br /><br /></strong></p> <div><strong>Departmental Preferences:</strong></div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>Certification or progress toward certification such as Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP), Master Business Continuity Professional (MBCP), Certified Disaster Recovery Planner, or Certified in Emergency Preparedness Planning Management is highly preferred and encouraged.</div> <p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p>
Responsibilities: <br /> <ul> <li> <div>Provide technical expertise in the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of department business continuity plans.</div> </li> <li> <div>Serve as a system administrator for the corporate business continuity software system.</div> </li> <li> <div>Provide training in business recovery practices and conduct tabletop exercises.</div> </li> <li> <div>Provide business recovery consulting to plan owners.</div> </li> <li> <div>Assist in the development of business continuity plans, which meet critical recovery time objectives.</div> </li> <li> <div>Assist in obtaining, reviewing, evaluating, and selecting vendors to perform business recovery services, if necessary.</div> </li> <li> <div>Assist in coordinating business relocation efforts if a business interruption occurs.</div> </li> <li> <div>Partner with information technology partners to assist in resolving work area disaster vulnerabilities.</div> </li> <li> <div>Assist in the selection of vendors to perform corporate risk assessments and business impact analysis.</div> </li> <li> <div>Assist in the implementation of risk assessment and business impact analysis recommendations.</div> </li> </ul>
Requirements: <br /> <ul> <li> <div>Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field is required.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</div> </li> <li> <div>Five (5) years of experience in business continuity methodologies and techniques, risk assessments, crisis management, corporate contingency planning, and business impact analysis is required.</div> </li> <li> <div>Knowledge of HiTrust security requirements for compliance and audits.&nbsp;</div> </li> <li> <div>Analytical skills to resolve business continuity issues, prioritize workloads, resolve difficult problems and provide technical leadership and direction.</div> </li> <li> <div>Excellent interpersonal skills are necessary to communicate effectively verbally and in writing, and present business continuity exercises to all levels within the organization.</div> </li> <li> <div>Ability to coordinate activities between departmental plans and integration into the corporate business continuity software.</div> </li> <li> <div>Proficient in using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.</div> </li> <li> <div>Knowledge of Fusion Risk Management software.</div> </li> </ul>
