Overview: Analyze and translate regulatory proposals, policies and rules into strategic options and actionable insights for stakeholders within the organization to evaluate and make decisions. Help the business explore a wide-range of strategic questions that span across the enterprise. Deliver value through insights that support corporate, business unit and segment strategies.
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Review regulatory proposals, policies and rules to develop and test hypothesis on anticipated impact to the organization and stakeholders.</li> <li>Analyze data and potential processes to generate insights for strategic options and recommendations.</li> <li>Facilitate cross-functional meetings at different levels within the organization to gather information, communicate analyses, share insights and provide recommendations.</li> <li>Develop plans and expectations with stakeholders and manage accordingly.</li> <li>Monitor regulatory landscape and draft materials on pertinent topics to be discussed at various executive forums and the Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan (BCBSM) and Blue Care Network (BCN) Board of Directors meetings.</li> <li>Create work plans to manage and track multiple projects of small to moderate size and risk concurrently.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in business, strategy or related area required.</li> <li>A minimum of five (5) years of related work experience in healthcare is required.</li> <li>Previous experience researching, analyzing data, and problem solving is required.</li> <li>Broad market knowledge of the healthcare regulatory landscape and competitors.</li> <li>Ability to synthesize very detailed and complicated regulations.</li> <li>Advanced experience in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.</li> <li>Knowledge of project management skills and tools.</li> <li>Ability to complete qualitative and quantitative analysis to make recommendations.</li> <li>Ability to work in ambiguity, make working assumptions and non-routine decisions.</li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communications skills.</li> </ul> <div id="gtx-trans" style="position: absolute; left: -108px; top: -20px;">&nbsp;</div>
