Overview: Responsible to write, edit and proofread content for a variety of highly visible internal and/or external communications.
Responsibilities: <ul> <li> <div>Research and produce communications content that is informational, educational and drives engagement.</div> </li> <li> <div>Collaborate with internal and external audiences about communications content.</div> </li> <li> <div>Support the development of communication plans and timelines.</div> </li> <li> <div>Maintain an understanding of the corporate communications strategy and standards to support the development of communication plans that support strategic initiatives.</div> </li> <li> <div>Proofread internal and external communications content for clarity, tone, style and grammar to ensure communications are high quality and results oriented.</div> </li> <li> <div>Research targeted audiences and suggest communication channels.</div> </li> <li> <div>Create and maintain a mass communications database and design of electronic media.</div> </li> <li> <div>Develop and deliver presentations to internal team members and leadership.</div> </li> <li> <div>Generate ideas to improve communication processes and delivery methods.</div> </li> <li> <div>Support complex projects as assigned.</div> </li> </ul> <br /> <p><strong>Market Communications</strong></p> <ul> <li> <div>Consult with business partners to identify communication needs, provide guidance on communication channels and create strategic communications plans.</div> </li> <li> <div>Provide consultation in the corporate messaging and ensure that corporate messaging is consistently applied to communications.</div> </li> <li> <div>Lead the creation of&nbsp; a variety of materials for diverse audience needs, including alerts, brochures, educational events, manuals and newsletters</div> </li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li> <div>Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications or related field is required.</div> </li> <li> <div>Five (5) years of professional communications experience is required.</div> </li> <li> <div>Previous experience working in the healthcare industry is preferred.</div> </li> <li> <div>Advanced copywriting, editing and written communication skills.</div> </li> <li> <div>Advanced oral communication skills.</div> </li> <li> <div>Advanced Microsoft Word and PowerPoint skills.</div> </li> <li> <div>Intermediate knowledge of multimedia technologies.</div> </li> <li> <div>Ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently while meeting deadlines.</div> </li> <li> <div>Ability to work independently and in a team environment.</div> </li> <li> <div>Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships within the organization and community.</div> </li> <li> <div>Ability to comprehend complex company documents, procedures and policies and distill these into easy-to-understand content.&nbsp;</div> </li> </ul> <div id="gtx-trans" style="position: absolute; left: -29px; top: 26px;">&nbsp;</div>
