Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Develop and improve work flows and business processes within area(s) to improve customer service, decrease operational costs and improve overall quality.</li> <li>Identify and/or analyze business problems and devise procedures for solutions to the problems. Effectively lead projects/teams in order to produce desired results.</li> <li>Responsible for corporate communication of project results.</li> <li>Recommend and assist with implementing standard policies and procedures for providing routine service.</li> <li>Assure that corporate compliance is communicated, implemented and monitored on an ongoing basis.</li> <li>Participate in systems testing, develop procedures/controls and provide recommendations for the ongoing improvement of the updated process.</li> <li>Assist personnel (both internal and external) by answering questions, supplying information and training.</li> <li>Develop and maintain an effective working relationship with customers.</li> <li>Other duties may be assigned.</li> </ul> <p><strong>WPS DEPARTMENT SUMMARY:</strong></p> <p>The Senior Workflow Performance Solutions (WPS) Analyst is responsible for effectively improving process opportunities within Claims Operations. The primary purpose of the (WPS)Analyst is to analyze and make decisions regarding current processes, as well as develop, propose and implement new processes within the organization.</p> <p>Plan, develop, test and implement workflow and automation system solutions that improve business efficiency and productivity as well as support business strategies and goals. Identify and communicate business needs and translate business requirements into technical system and functional specifications; may be enterprise-wide solutions for workflow and state-wide for automation. Understand business processes to design, develop, implement and maintain work flows and robotics automation, complex or other designated software and applications used to support and improve daily departmental/divisional operations. Performing Unit systems testing, develop procedures/controls and provide recommendations for ongoing improvement of the updated process. Develop and maintain effective working relationships with related business partners and vendors.</p>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred.</li> <li>Four (4) to seven (7) years&rsquo; experience in related field.</li> <li>Supervisory and/or Analyst experience required with proven experience in operational analysis, data analysis, and problem resolution type activities.</li> <li>Ability to plan, organize, direct and control projects.</li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li> <li>Ability to lead and contribute to process improvement projects.</li> <li>Working knowledge of PC applications and/or mainframe required.</li> <li>Other related skills and/or abilities may be required to perform this job.</li> </ul> <p><strong>DEPARTMENT REQUIREMENTS:</strong></p> <ul> <li>One (1) year of leading and proven experience of assessing client needs utilizing a structured requirements process (gathering, analyzing, documenting, and managing changes) to prioritize immediate business needs and recommends options, risks, and cost vs. benefits.</li> <li>One (1) year proven experience implementing and maintaining work flows and/or robotics automation.</li> <li>Two (2) years of relevant system solution development, testing and implementation work experience translating business requirements into technical system required.</li> <li>Ability to develop and implement creative solutions to business issues.</li> <li>Highly organized, self-starter with proven ability to produce high quality output.</li> <li>Strong organizational skills and follow-through abilities with attention to detail required. Ability to work effectively with multiple internal and external clients and to handle multiple projects and implementation timeframes with minimal supervision.</li> <li>Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio required; Basic knowledge of Access required.</li> <li>Proficient in documentation and technical writing required.</li> </ul> <p><strong>DEPARTMENT PREFERENCE:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Working knowledge of Government Programs preferred.</li> <li>Proven experience working with process improvement initiatives.</li> <li>Proven experience working with technical design, automation and workflow development.</li> <li>Major in business or health care related field with coursework in math/statistics/process improvement/project management preferred.</li> <li>Five (5) years of relevant system solution development, testing and implementation work experience preferred.</li> <li>Two (2) years of project management experience preferred.</li> <li>Two (2) years process improvement preferred.</li> <li>Two (2) years in healthcare environment preferred.</li> <li>Proficient knowledge of Visual Studio referred.</li> </ul>
