Overview: Responsible to plan, organize, direct, control, and lead assigned business unit; specialize in development, planning, and leadership; operate within broad objectives to ensure optimum utilization of capital, manpower, and equipment for the assigned business unit.
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Manage activities of a department including but not limited to planning, problem solving, staff development and communication.</li> <li>Execute function/area objectives that support continuous improvement.</li> <li>Manage professional, exempt, and non-exempt non-bargaining and bargaining unit employees. Responsible for special projects and/or problem resolutions.</li> <li>Provide effective and efficient solutions to complex business problems.</li> <li>Provide high level oversight and leadership.</li> <li>Other Duties may be assigned.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Department Summary / Preferences:</strong></p> <p>Perform as Go To Market readiness manager, developing and deploying strategies for the release of products and programs to the market. Collaborate with Product, Sales and Marketing teams, to develop new and innovative ways to bring offerings to market. Develop go to market strategies for program and individual product offerings. Manage deployment of go to market strategies, working with operational and business areas, understanding business impacts and manage development and implementation of required processes, training and communications. Manage multiple medium to large scale projects concurrently for Go To Market deployment, using formal project management methodology utilizing project schedules, issues/risks management, change control, etc.</p>
Requirements: <p><strong>Requirements</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience in or working with Sales and Marketing.</li> </ul> <p><strong><u>Experience</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Performed in or interfaced with servicing teams and systems.</li> <li>Performed in or interfaced with claims operations teams and systems.</li> <li>Understanding medical/Rx/Dental/Vision products/benefits.</li> <li>Understanding of Sales/agent landscape.</li> <li>Managing concurrent projects of $1M-$5M.</li> <li>Knowledge of project management methodologies.</li> </ul> <p><strong><u>Technical Skills</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, SharePoint and Visio.</li> <li>Able to work with IT teams to understand business implications of system changes.</li> </ul> <p><strong><u>Leadership Skills</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>With limited understanding of business functions, facilitate and manage teams to identify and develop business readiness project deliverables.</li> <li>With limited direction, perform project management functions, owning all aspects of business readiness delivery.</li> </ul> <p><strong>&nbsp;<u>Problem Solving</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>For moderate to complex issues, ability to learn business operations, accurately define problem areas, and manage teams to develop and implement solutions.</li> </ul> <p><strong><u>Strategic Thinking</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Understand Sales and Customer landscape, what their future needs will be, and develop communications plans that will support their needs.</li> </ul> <p><strong>&nbsp;<u>Education</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree.</li> </ul> <p><strong>&nbsp;<u>Professionalism</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Perform independently.</li> <li>Strong verbal and written communication skills.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in related field required.
