Overview: <p><strong>In this role, you'll balance&nbsp;big picture,&nbsp;strategic thinking and detail-oriented planning&nbsp;to help the Advanced Analytics Center of Excellence develop and build new analytics capabilities for the largest health insurer in the state of Michigan.</strong><strong> <br /><br />Specifically, you'll manage projects for advanced analytics, including business case planning, governance coordination, analytics tool rationalization, vendor administration, budgets and organizational administration. <br /><br /> You'll do this by developing and maintaining cross functional relationships to ensure alignment and operationalization of advanced analytics across the enterprise.</strong></p>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Manage the identification, prioritization or sequencing and resource planning of analytics business cases to ensure project goals and timelines are met.</li> <li>Provide leadership, coaching and development to a team supporting advanced analytics to maximize resources, manage workloads and ensure on-time deliverables.</li> <li>Manage and chair the Analytics Working Group (AWG).</li> <li>Collaborate with internal data and information technology governance functions to support the AWG.</li> <li>Coordinate sources of truth, definitions and algorithms across the enterprise to align business operations.</li> <li>Partner with cross-functional teams to drive analytic strategies, tools and standard processes throughout the enterprise.&nbsp;</li> <li>Oversee the process of analytical tool rationalizations to optimize business objectives.</li> <li>Manage third-party vendor negotiations, day-to-day operations, performance to contract terms and conditions, etc. for departmental systems.</li> <li>Create executive level presentations to inform leadership on analytics governance activities and business case progress.&nbsp;</li> <li>Assist leadership with departmental administration efforts to include; budgets, staffing, training, etc.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in a related field is required. Master&rsquo;s degree in a related field is preferred.</li> <li>A minimum of five (5) years of experience in a related field is required.</li> <li>Previous experience leading projects and/or teams is required.</li> <li>Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.</li> <li>Advanced organizational and problem-solving skills.</li> <li>Advanced written and verbal communication skills.</li> <li>Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.</li> <li>Ability to effectively interface and present to management at all levels of the organization.</li> </ul> <p><em> All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to, among other grounds, race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, gender identity, protected veteran status or status as an individual with a disability.</em></p>
