Overview: <p>Leadership responsibility to coordinate the development and implementation of programs and strategies to improve service&nbsp;to our customers.</p> <p><strong><em><u>DEPARTMENT SPECIFIC SUMMARY</u></em></strong><strong><em>:&nbsp;</em></strong></p> <p><strong><em>Leadership responsibility to coordinate the development and implementation of programs and strategies to drive key business initiatives with a focus on go-to-market application. In a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with minimal supervision, the Senior Analyst is responsible for assisting and supporting management in the evaluation, recommendation, establishment, implementation and analysis of high-impact projects and initiatives that support our Health Plan Business Group Segments. The Senior Analyst will support and lead assigned initiatives and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver measurable results.</em></strong></p>
Responsibilities: <p>Develop and improve work flows and business processes within area(s) to improve customer service, decrease operational costs and improve overall quality. Identify and/or analyze business problems and devise procedures for solutions to the problems. Effectively lead projects/teams in order to produce desired results. Responsible for corporate communication of project results. Recommend and assist with implementing standard policies and procedures for providing routine service. Assure that corporate compliance is communicated, implemented and monitored on an ongoing basis. Participate in systems testing, develop procedures/controls and provide recommendations for the ongoing improvement of the updated process. Assist personnel (both internal and external) by answering questions, supplying information and training. Develop and maintain an effective working relationship with customers. Other duties may be assigned.</p>
Requirements: <p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred.</li> <li>Four (4) to seven (7) years&rsquo; experience in related field.</li> <li>Supervisory and/or Analyst experience required with proven experience in operational analysis, data analysis, and problem resolution type activities.</li> <li>Ability to plan, organize, direct and control projects.</li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li> <li>Ability to lead and contribute to process improvement projects.</li> <li>Working knowledge of PC applications and/or mainframe required.</li> <li>Other related skills and/or abilities may be required to perform this job.</li> </ul> <p><em><strong>DEPARTMENT REQUIREMENTS:</strong></em></p> <ul> <li><em><strong>Two to four years Supervisory or Analyst experience required.</strong></em></li> <li><em><strong>Demonstrated experience working with multiple projects or key initiatives highly preferred. Project management experience.</strong></em></li> <li><em><strong>Prefer MOS systems, customer service, membership and billing functions.</strong></em></li> <li><em><strong>Ability to effectively lead projects/teams to produce desired results.</strong></em></li> <li><em><strong>Ability to produce statistical information from conceptual needs.</strong></em></li> <li><em><strong>Proficient working in PC applications and/or mainframe systems required. Strong proficiency in industry standard PC applications and systems (i.e., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)</strong></em></li> <li><em><strong>Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy.</strong></em></li> <li><em><strong>Excellent analytical, organizational, problem resolution, verbal and written communication skills required.</strong></em></li> <li><em><strong>Must be self-motivated, able to work independently and with a team to meet established deadlines.</strong></em></li> <li><em><strong>Must be a forward thinker in anticipating needs and objectives related to various assignments.</strong></em></li> <li><em><strong>Ability to work well with all levels of personnel in order to meet deadlines and tight timeframes.</strong></em></li> <li><em><strong>Must be able to make day-to-day decisions.
