Overview: Leads Consulting, Reporting, Analytics team for large customer to deliver a comprehensive reporting and analytics service model across all products (Commercial/Medicare, PPO/HMO) as well as support operational and strategic data, analytic and reporting requirements. Responsible to plan, organize, direct, control and lead multiple teams and coordinate with multiple business units. Support corporate goals and objectives
Responsibilities: <ul><li>Manages the curation, aggregation, production, and distribution of reports and analyses required by the customer, both executive and operational level detail.</li><li>Understands the collection of analytics, reports and associated levels of detail to be created by consulting with internal stakeholders and directly with the customer.</li><li>Coordinates processes and deliverables with the various Clinical Strategies teams (Customer Consulting, Customer Reporting, and Strategic Analytics) as well as the customer Medical Director.</li><li>Collaborates directly with the customer to ensure understanding and appropriateness of reporting and develops the portfolio and schedule for key analytics and reporting to align with the customers decision-making timelines.</li><li>Partners with the strategic team and Medical Director to draw actionable insights from reporting, develop core storylines, and ensure actionable insights are delivered.</li><li>Administers the creation of necessary white-papers.</li><li>Reviews and approves the need to create net new analytics and reports. </li></ul>
Requirements: <ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree in related field required. Master in related field is highly preferred. </li><li>Seven (7) to ten (10) years’ experience in related field including experience in a leadership role. </li><li>Training in product, finance/actuarial and sales. </li><li>Knowledge of financial aspects of healthcare and financial acumen of BCBSM. </li><li>Excellent knowledge of healthcare products. </li><li>Ability to work well under tight deadlines. </li><li>Excellent knowledge of the National Healthcare Reform Law and associated business implications. </li><li>Knowledge of customer and market perspectives. </li><li>Strong interpersonal skills. </li><li>Strong strategic planning </li><li>Strong leadership to drive internal and external improvements. </li><li>Ability to work with internal business partners to drive and build solid working relationships. </li><li>Creativity to solve business issues. </li><li>Strong leadership to drive internal and external improvements </li><li>Multi faceted skill on customer perspectives and views as well as financial risk management issues. </li></ul>
