Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Set long-term performance targets for the organization, identify the key actions and strategies required to achieve the targets, and define the multi-year performance glide path to reach the targets.</li> <li>Develop the organization&rsquo;s multi-year strategic plan, incorporating market trends, long-term performance targets, key capabilities required, and in-flight corporate and business unit strategies.&nbsp;</li> <li>Identify, develop and evaluate strategies. Drive development of enterprise-wide and cross-functional strategies, including capability and value identification.</li> <li>Collaborate with executive leaders to develop long-term goals and objectives, key risks, and supporting initiatives and projects.</li> <li>Provide insight and feedback on selected projects in terms of competitive analysis, capabilities required, strategic and financial value, dependencies, organizational impact, stakeholder analysis, and ability to execute.</li> <li>Prepare content and deliver presentations, discussion documents, and updates to executive-level audiences.</li> <li>Coach and develop managers, analysts, interns, and potentially contractors within the department.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Master&rsquo;s or other advanced degree in business or related area required.&nbsp; An academic focus in strategy helpful.</li> <li>Seven (7) or more years of experience in business strategy consulting.&nbsp; Experience in insurance or health care industries helpful.</li> <li>Strong strategic orientation with ability to develop plans to deliver expected results.</li> <li>Expert analytical skills. Ability to anticipate scenarios and develop strategy options while remaining open minded to alternatives.</li> <li>Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Ability to deliver complex information in clear, concise, and relevant manner using appropriate media.</li> <li>Ability to credibly consult with executive and line leadership.</li> <li>Ability to demonstrate creativity, act independently, and respond to highly ambiguous situations.</li> <li>Ability to assess the business outcomes and risks to determine an appropriate course of action.</li> <li>Ability to lead others and manage their performance.</li> </ul>
