Overview: <strong>Design, build, test, implement, maintain, and optimize the network, telecommunications, desktop, and mobility system infrastructure and operations.&nbsp; Monitor and optimize the performance of operating systems and applications.&nbsp; Diagnose system failures and take corrective action.&nbsp; Use strong client service orientation to ensure all requests and problems are resolved.&nbsp; Coordinate and work on multiple cross-functional initiatives and projects as a technical lead or advisor.&nbsp; Develop/build highly complex systems that may have system-wide impact, integrate across the organization, and involve multiple technical environments and disciplines.</strong>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li> <div>Participate in short- and long-term planning efforts with stakeholders and IT groups.&nbsp; Develop cost/time estimates.&nbsp; Identify and communicate how IT solutions can support the achievement of short- and long-range business goals.&nbsp; Develop the prioritization of requirements and match resources with requirements.</div> </li> <li> <div>Work with business analysts, Architecture, and stakeholders to understand business needs.&nbsp; Lead the evaluation of technical requirements for projects to determine the impact to the infrastructure.&nbsp; Determine systems specifications, input/output processes and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility. Assist in the business process redesign and documentation for new technology as needed.</div> </li> <li> <div>Lead, create, and collaborate with cross functional teams to develop design documents that can be implemented.&nbsp; Participate in technical design review of applicable projects.&nbsp; Develop custom integration solutions.</div> </li> <li> <div>Lead the design and implementation of security solutions. Ensure the integrity of host computers, multiple databases and secure data transfer.&nbsp; Direct efforts to demonstrate that information systems are compliant with appropriate corporate policies, industry standards, government regulations, and contractual requirements.&nbsp; Identify discrepancies resulting from security audits, develops plans for corrective actions and tracks actions to closure.</div> </li> <li> <div>Establish requirements, methods and procedures for routine maintenance.</div> </li> <li> <div>Lead or provide technical direction for the planning, designing, and execution of testing efforts.&nbsp; Ensure that tests evaluate all possible impacts on the current infrastructure or application.</div> </li> <li> <div>Coordinate and lead the deployment and review of new, modified or enhanced system components or services.&nbsp; Certify the functionality of components and services.</div> </li> <li> <div>Develop and maintain metrics around the system and institute a process for continuous improvement.&nbsp; Perform periodic reviews with users and vendors.&nbsp; Define and ensure continuous monitoring procedures are set according to the standard procedures and requirements.
