Competitive Total Compensation Package

Overview: Responsible for leading the packaging of existing and new products, programs and capabilities in a simple and easy to understand format to enable sales staff to speak confidently to group customers regarding potential solutions, demonstrating the value Blue Cross brings to customers and members across various area of Health Care Value
Responsibilities: <ul><li>Responsible for working with leaders from across Health Care Value to understand existing, new, and future products, programs and their capabilities.</li><li>Lead the translation of existing products, programs and capabilities into holistic solutions including developing the value proposition and solution summaries to inform the go to market strategy.</li><li>Lead the process to enable partners from the sales team to deliver compelling messages to their customers related to solutions.</li><li>Present solutions directly to senior decision makers at our group customers.</li><li>Ensure the value proposition for any initiative, including the entirety of the Health Care Value department is clearly articulated in group presentations, RFP responses and other external communications. </li><li>Possess and maintain a comprehensive understanding and knowledge of BCBSM business, products, programs (including provider data, networks, etc.), corporate organizational structure (including functional responsibilities), and basic research principles/methodologies.</li><li>Manage and monitor multiple projects simultaneously by establishing project plans and objectives to ensure goal attainment within defined parameters.</li><li>Provide expertise and guidance to unit and corporate staff as required.</li><li>Represent and participate in group or committee discussions. </li></ul>
Requirements: <ul><li>Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Health Care, Information Systems, Statistics or other related field is required. Master's Degree in related field preferred. </li><li>Six (6) or more years’ experience in related experience (e.g., strategic selling, business consulting, planning, health care economics, health care policy, business decisions, market research, or business management). </li><li>Excellent analytical, organizational, planning, problem solving, and verbal and written communication/presentation skills. </li><li>Ability to interpret and communicate ideas. </li><li>Strong knowledge and use of existing software packages (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc). </li><li>Advanced PowerPoint skills </li><li>Ability to communicate and build relationships across teams at all levels of the organization. </li><li>Understand and apply statistical inference. </li><li>Other related skills and/or abilities may be required to perform this job. </li></ul>
