Competitive Total Compensation Package

Overview: Under minimal supervision, responsible for the administration of executive compensation and perquisites programs for BCBSM and its subsidiaries.&nbsp; Prepares meeting materials and provide support for the BCBSM board, its committees, and subsidiary boards.&nbsp; Participates in salary surveys, audits, and studies of executive compensation practices to ensure the Company maintains external competitiveness. Administer the procurement and related vendor payment processes.
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Perform duties related to the administration of executive compensation and perquisites programs and contracts with external vendors.</li> <li>Prepare meeting materials, presentations and provide support for the Personnel and Compensation Subcommittee, BCBSM board, its committees, and subsidiary boards.</li> <li>Perform research and analysis related to compensation actions that are going to the Board, market trends, and salary program or incentive plan changes.</li> <li>Prepare compensation related reports to support annual reporting process and to assist senior leadership in administration of the executive compensation programs.</li> <li>Participate in annual executive and board member compensation salary surveys.</li> <li>Participate in special projects assigned by BCBSM senior management, subsidiary leadership, or the subcommittee.</li> <li>Perform audits and compliance reviews to assess executive program, effectiveness, and participation.</li> <li>Develop and/or update executive job descriptions according to established format.</li> <li>Update executive plan documents.</li> <li>Assist by answering questions, supplying information and training as necessary.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <div class="job-details__section"> <div class="basic-formatter" data-bind="html: job().description"> <p>QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management or related area preferred.&nbsp;</li> <li>Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) certification preferred.</li> <li>Five or more years&rsquo; experience in compensation or related area required.</li> <li>Strong analytical, organizational, problem resolution, verbal and written communication skills.</li> <li>Strong knowledge and demonstration of skills utilizing Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Adobe, etc.).</li> <li>Ability to work effectively in a team environment.</li> <li>Knowledge of applicable Human Resources and related tax laws (i.e.,&nbsp;<a target="_blank">ERISA, FICA, IRC 409A&nbsp;</a>, etc.).</li> <li>Other related skills and/or abilities may be required to perform this job.</li> </ul> </div> </div> <div class="job-details__apply">&nbsp;</div>
