Overview: Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan / Blue Care Network is currently seeking a Specialist Leadership Development for our downtown / Lafayette Tower location.<br /> <p style="font-weight: 400;"><strong><em><u>Departmental&nbsp;Preferences</u></em></strong></p> <ul style="font-weight: 400;"> <li>Expert-level written and verbal communication skills.</li> <li>Demonstrated facilitation experience including to an executive audience.</li> </ul>
Responsibilities: <p style="font-weight: 400;">Designs learning solutions using a variety of delivery methods (instructor led, virtual instructor led, e-learning). Develops and updates course content and coordinates learning curriculum. Conducts assessment and analysis to identify new development needs and recommends training methods accordingly.</p> <ul style="font-weight: 400;"> <li>Identifies opportunities for learning programs based on feedback, emerging trends, and market research. &nbsp;</li> <li>Develops or enhances new programs, theories, models and practices related to leveraging leadership capability to maximize individual, team, and organizational performance.&nbsp;</li> <li>Develops executive level presentations and programs to support leadership.&nbsp;</li> <li>Leads and /or participates in various projects related to human performance such as leadership competency development, curriculum development, talent review, succession management, and executive development. &nbsp;</li> <li>Manages multiple projects to define and meet milestones, communicate issues and risks while maintaining control over quality, cost and schedule. &nbsp;</li> <li>Collaborates with Human Performance department leaders to identify mutually agreeable goals, scope of service, project plan, the nature of client-consultant relationship and end goals.&nbsp;</li> <li>Consults with business leaders to gain knowledge of customer performance issues to construct learning and performance solutions.&nbsp;</li> <li>Conducts organizational analysis with clients to identify performance needs and gaps, determine appropriate interventions to address gaps, enhance performance, and achieve organizational goals.&nbsp;</li> <li>Drafts and submits proposals to leadership for approval; report on outcomes and articulate results to stakeholders.&nbsp;</li> <li>Assesses corporate workforce development needs to drive training and learning initiatives. Conducts benchmarking research to derive and utilize appropriate performance norms and ensure organizational interventions reflect best practices.&nbsp;</li> <li>In partnership with client, implements and delivers leadership development initiatives such as, assessment, training, and coaching.&nbsp;</li> <li>Maintains ongoing communication with client and leadership; documents progress on a regular basis. &nbsp;</li> <li>Works to enable client to maintain intervention after services have been rendered.&nbsp;</li> <li>Provides leadership with technical and performance reports on the effectiveness of the intervention.&nbsp;</li> <li>Sets up feedback mechanisms to obtain information.&nbsp;</li> <li>Utilizes feedback to modify organizational development processes, tools and techniques with the end goal of improving human and business performance.&nbsp;</li> <li>Other duties as assigned.&nbsp;</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Organizational Development, Instructional Design or related required.&nbsp;</li> <li>Master's degree preferred. Eight years general business experience.</li> <li>Seven years experience in training delivery and instructional design of multimedia learning applications and classroom-based learning required.</li> <li>Design and development of leadership development programs.</li> </ul>
