Overview: <p>Verify and validate whether products or services meet specified requirements.&nbsp; Implement quality assurance objectives and process, monitor, and evaluate testing results against the predetermined objectives and apply recommended actions for improvements.&nbsp; Be part of all phases of the QA process and interact with all members of the project team.&nbsp;&nbsp; Work on multiple programs/systems as a testing lead and on high complexity projects/issues across multiple development environments or enterprise-wide systems.&nbsp; Provide technical leadership and support (e.g., subject matter expertise) for the IT team.&nbsp;</p>
Responsibilities: Review and approve QA strategies and architecture.&nbsp; Ensure overall integrity of QA strategy.&nbsp; Participate in project planning reviews as well as test design execution and assessment for development projects.&nbsp; Prepare and submit QA estimates and QA project schedules.&nbsp; Plan, monitor, and track project team&rsquo;s work. Work with the Business and Systems Analysts to interpret QA needs as requirements are being developed.&nbsp; Evaluate testability of requirements and report to project team members on changes or additional information needed in requirements.&nbsp; Participate in architecture and technical specification review and provide feedback on content and testability.&nbsp; Analyze defect patterns and drive test initiatives to resolve these to completion. Oversee the creation of test cases, test scenarios and scripts in support of business functional requirements.&nbsp; Ensure test data is developed in a reusable state and is available.&nbsp; Design, develop, and implement test data.&nbsp; Assign test environment. Ensure that all testing processes support solutions being delivered with agreed upon business value, on time and highest quality.&nbsp; Ensure metrics comply with testing and requirements.&nbsp; Analyze and review test results with key team members and stakeholders and make recommendations regarding software defects.&nbsp; Identify technical and operational problems on installed networks, systems and products. Manage analysis of testing results and development of testing reports. Work with team to define the automation framework strategy to support both function and non-functional testing in a cost effective manner. Prepare, maintain and review all required testing documents.&nbsp; Document and analyze defects, metrics and testing results.&nbsp; Prepare dashboard, and management reports/final summaries. Facilitate development of and approve QR test strategy and plan.&nbsp; Ensure that the appropriate test environments exist.&nbsp; Review and analyze test case documentationContribute to and ensure adherence to requirements traceability matrix, ensuring quality delivery.&nbsp; Ensure compliance to QA policies, standards and procedures. Consult with appropriate IT area to identify and resolve process problems when desired service outcomes are not being met. Analyze and identify trends in IT performance metrics.&nbsp; Design, monitor, analyze, and report performance metrics program for quality improvement initiatives.&nbsp; Conduct audits and analyze findings to develop appropriate corrective action recommendations.&nbsp; Manage runway qualify cleanup.&nbsp; Participate in lesson learned sessions for improvement of testing process.&nbsp; Identify and propose areas of improvement throughout the QA process. Review and analyze audit planning documentation for all assigned audits to ensure completeness.&nbsp; Perform detailed audit procedures and testing. Prepare documentation on the audit performed.&nbsp; Identify and raise all issues that arise during the execution of an audit or risk assessment.&nbsp; Provide observations on impact and root cause, as well as a possible solution.&nbsp; Participate in and review all audit findings. Pioneer new test methodologies to deliver quality products.&nbsp; Research, test, and select testing tools.&nbsp; Develop test case automation criteria.&nbsp; Evaluate the environment, conditions and criteria under which test case automation should occur.&nbsp; Recommend or specify manual and automated testing methods and procedures.&nbsp; Develop and employ automated testing methods. Establish and implement quality assurance and compliance processes for the IT organization.&nbsp; Establish internal IT service quality control standards, policies and procedures.&nbsp; Make recommendations for improvements to the software development lifecycle process.&nbsp; Document non-compliance to policies, process and standards and assist in the resolution.&nbsp; Ensure that QA processes are followed. Provide training on established processes, policies and tool sets to team members and others. Provide guidance and subject matter expertise to IT teams on QA methodologies and process, educate them on their responsibilities/accountabilities.&nbsp; Provide direction and mentor less experienced individuals.&nbsp; Identify training needs.
Requirements: <p><strong>EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in related field preferred.</li> <li>Seven (7) years of IT and business experience, with at least five (5) years in</li> <li>Quality Assurance and two (2) years of audit or assessment or other relevant experience required.</li> <li>Experience developing and conducting test processes for multiple types of systems, client users and/or units across an organization.</li> <li>A proven track record of leading and developing strong teams.</li> <li>Demonstrate proficiency in Software Testing applications.&nbsp;</li> <li>In-depth knowledge of the Software Development Methodology.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><strong>OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES</strong></p> <ul> <li>Understand business requirements, technical specifications, and change management documentation in order to develop test plans.</li> <li>Strong understanding of engineering and testing functions.</li> <li>Experience in testing large-scale enterprise products/applications.</li> <li>Understanding of the necessity and value of accuracy and attention to detail</li> <li>Ability to process information with high levels of accuracy.&nbsp;</li> <li>Demonstrate an ongoing desire and effort to continuously improve one&rsquo;s work and the projducts, services, or processes of the enterprise.</li> <li>Analytical thinking skills.</li> <li>Ability to work independently, or within a team environment.</li> <li>Other related skills and/or abilities may be required to perform this job.</li> </ul> <p><em><br />All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to, among other grounds, race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, protected veteran status or status as an individual with a disability.</em></p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
