Overview: Responsible for project(s) leadership in order to implement, design or deliver performance support tools and systems.
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Responsible to lead multiple complex projects (s) to achieve established goals and conserve resources.</li> <li>Develop documentation (both online and paper) to achieve established goals and conserve resources.</li> <li>Develop performance-based training and development systems to meet operational needs and requirements.</li> <li>Develop standards and educate employees to carry out job functions.</li> <li>Provide effective/efficient solutions to business problems and effectively communicate recommendations to all levels of employees.</li> <li>Represent department and division as requested on workgroups and special assignments. Establish and meet deadlines and reporting requirements.</li> <li>Conduct front-end analysis and develop general specifications for training and documentation. Evaluate documentation/training systems to ensure cost-effectiveness.</li> <li>Other duties may be assigned.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in Instructional Technology or Technical Communications preferred.</li> <li>Three (3) to five (5) years of project leadership experience required. Three (3) years of technical writing or two (2) years of design and development performance support systems experience required.</li> <li>Experience with documentation or training authorizing systems preferred.</li> <li>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.</li> <li>Proven ability to facilitate meetings, workgroups, make presentations, etc.</li> <li>Demonstrated oral and written communication skills with emphasis on syntax, grammar, and presentation of material.</li> <li>Other related skills and/or abilities may be required to perform this job.</li> </ul> <br /> <div><strong><span style="font-size: small;">DEPARTMENTAL REQUIREMENTS:</span></strong></div> <ul> <li><span style="font-size: small;">Knowledge of the Instructional Design Process.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: small;">Knowledge of Adult Learning theory.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: small;">Proven experience assessing, designing, and developing training materials.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: small;">Demonstrated logic skills reflected in procedural documentation.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: small;">Demonstrated analytical, organizational, and problem resolution skills.</span></li> </ul>
