Overview: The Data Entry Key Operator is responsible for data correction and entry of all scanned documents into corporate software. The Data Entry Key Operator also assists with all document preparation tasks to ensure for efficient and timely loading of documents to system.
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Data enter all assigned claims and other documents into designated systems, according to corporate standards.</li> <li>Perform other reasonably related duties, including special projects as assigned by immediate supervisor and other management staff as required.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED required</li> <li>Medical or health insurance experience or coursework preferred, i.e. medical terminology, ICD-10, etc.</li> <li>One year of experience within an office setting, preferably in an electronic and record file management environment preferred.</li> <li>Experience operating office equipment, i.e. keyboard, 10-key adding machine, fax machine, copier, etc. preferred.</li> <li>Experience with word processing software, Windows environment preferred.</li> <li>Verbal and written communication skills to interface with department staff and other BCN and BCBSM staff</li> <li>Knowledge, understanding and support of team concepts</li> <li>Planning and organizational skills to prioritize work responsibilities</li> <li>Data entry skills; 80 net keystrokes per minute</li> </ul> <p><strong><u>Must pass the data entry assessment.&nbsp;</u></strong></p> <p><em>All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to, among other grounds, race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, gender identity, protected veteran status or status as an individual with a disability.</em></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
