Competitive Total Compensation Package

Overview: This position is responsible for supporting the Individual Business Unit (IBU) by providing compliance and operational support to leaders and key stakeholders in IBU. Additionally, this position is responsible to analyze, manage and oversee multiple regulatory, compliance and corporate requirements with a strong project management acumen. In addition to the aforementioned responsibilities, this position will consult with business stakeholders and other subject matter experts to identify compliance and procurement requirements, assess risks, and recommend solutions that support business goals.
Responsibilities: <p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Compliance Support &amp; Project Management</span></strong></p> <ul> <li>Assist with regulatory attestations, e.g. Qualified Health Plan (QHP) and Pediatric Dental attestation processes.</li> <li>Report quarterly compliance metrics and corrective action plan remediation through the enterprise-wide MetricStream system.</li> <li>Produce the monthly Compliance Oversight dashboard and monitor statuses month over month.</li> <li>Investigate issues to resolve complex problems and make recommendations to business leaders and employees to ensure on-going compliance.</li> <li>Monitor, track and report on completion statuses for the department&rsquo;s corporate compliance training goals utilizing ComplianceWire software.</li> <li>Support IBU Compliance Oversight manager by filling the compliance liaison role for IBU and MetricStream task owner.</li> <li>Lead small projects successfully within the scope of compliance and procurement responsibilities.</li> </ul> <p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Procurement Administration Support</span></strong></p> <ul> <li>Provide guidance to individual employees regarding the administration of procurement needs, managing requisitions/invoicing and purchase order activity.</li> <li>Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders in the evaluation and analysis of procurement needs, cost center budgeting and securing necessary pre-approvals.</li> <li>Ensure procurement activities follow established corporate requirements and established compliance processes.</li> <li>Interact with Corporate Procurement for subject matter expertise, execution, guidance, continuous improvement, and/or issue resolution.</li> <li>Produce the quarterly Procurement Dashboard report.</li> </ul> <p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Business Continuity</span></strong></p> <ul> <li>Serve as the business continuity builder for Tier 1 business unit</li> <li>Facilitate bi-annual reviews and updates to the business continuity plan (BCP) by interacting with key IBU leaders to capture their contingency plans and document within the Fusion system.</li> <li>Assist with the annual tabletop testing exercise for the department.</li> </ul> <p>Accountable for and manages the development, implementation and ongoing maintenance of project(s) with moderate to complex scope and deliverables. Project scope is at least two years planning to implementation and may impact one or more business unit/function. Project scope typically impacts one or more of the following: process, system, function, product and/or service.&nbsp;&nbsp;Develop detailed project plans and schedules, identify goals, objectives, risks and resource allocation.&nbsp;Monitor project status for significant deviations in quality, cost or schedule. Interface with various departments, senior management and external individuals providing value and support for continuous improvement.&nbsp;Support development of project budgets and update, as required.&nbsp;Coach and mentor team members.&nbsp;&nbsp;Provide feedback on team performance.&nbsp;Ensure that expectations are developed, controlled, and executed in a timely manner.&nbsp;Represent leadership staff at meetings in their absence.&nbsp;May provide supervision to others.&nbsp;Other duties as assigned.</p>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in related field required.</li> <li>Five (5) or more years' experience in related field.</li> <li>Three (3) years project management experience in health plan operations or related field</li> <li>Project Management Professional Certificate preferred.</li> <li>Leadership and/or analytical experience with data, systems, and operations.</li> <li>Knowledge of program management preferred.</li> <li>Excellent analytical, organizational, problem solving, verbal and written communication skills.</li> <li>Knowledge of project management tools and methodologies.</li> <li>Ability to work independently, within a team environment and with multiple priorities.</li> <li>Proficient in current industry standard PC applications and systems (e.g., Access, Excel and Word).</li> <li>Ability to work closely with the technical support team in understanding and resolving systems issues.</li> <li>Ability to develop, implement, and monitor policies and procedures.</li> <li>Other related skills and/or abilities may be required to perform this job.</li> </ul> <p><br /> <strong><u>DEPARTMENT REQUIREMENTS AND PREFERENCES</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Five (5) years in related health care field which may include experience in healthcare policy, compliance and/or audit and procurement/vendor administration.</li> <li>Knowledge of corporate systems including, Fusion (Business Continuity), MetricStream, PeopleSoft sPro and ePro systems.</li> <li>Excellent analytical, organizational, interpersonal, problem solving, written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to apply concepts to practical situations.</li> <li>Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, within a team environment and handle multiple assignments.</li> <li>Ability to plan, organize and direct projects while exercising high ethical standards and good judgment.</li> <li>Proficient in current industry standard PC applications and systems (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).&nbsp; Additional proficiency in Excel is desired (e.g. pivot tables, tables, reports, etc.) to manage data and provide thoughtful analysis of results.</li> </ul>
