Competitive Total Compensation Package

Overview: Provides leadership in developing and providing customer consulting services for all segments of commercial group customer business. Responsible for leveraging available customer data to provide a clear understanding of available solutions to develop customer specific strategies to reduce cost while improving member health and customer experience. Develops and administers a standard BCBSM approach to deliver a consistent offering. Develops and implements &ldquo;buy-up&rdquo; consulting solution(s) for group customers to provide more dedicated customer support.
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Develops suite of strategies to address common group customer issues related to cost and utilization that can be deployed to group commercial customers.&nbsp; Develops and manages services to review and distill reports to identify customer cost drivers and provide solutions for cost containment.</li> <li>Collaborates with account management to monitor ongoing performance of implemented strategies and solutions.</li> <li>Collaborates with customer reporting team to ensure appropriate reporting is developed and deployed to assess the performance of customer solutions/strategies.</li> <li>Develops, implements, and refines customer consulting approach (training existing staff, syndicating approach with internal and external stakeholders).</li> <li>Collaborates with segment leads to develop segment specific SLAs related to customer consulting.</li> <li>Ensures team delivers on segment specific SLAs related to customer consulting.</li> <li>Collaborates with customer reporting and clinical account management teams to continuously refine suite of customer-centric solutions offered in Clinical Strategies Division.</li> <li>Develops standards for cadence of customer meetings, format, and content for customer presentations.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree required.&nbsp; Master&rsquo;s Degree (MBA or similar) preferred.</li> <li>Ten (10) years of experience in healthcare industry, including three (3) years in health plan benefits consulting or management consulting required.&nbsp;</li> <li>Market facing experience is critical to accompany presentations to accounts, working with the sales teams and consultants as well as experience presenting and coordinating meetings with senior executives of our organization.</li> <li>Valid Michigan Accident and Health Insurance License.</li> <li>Valid and unrestricted driver's license is required.</li> <li>Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills.</li> <li>Clinical program competency to include strong understanding of care management and medical utilization concepts and practices.</li> </ul> <p><em>All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment, without regard to, among other grounds, race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, gender identity, protected veteran status or status as an individual with a disability.</em></p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
