Overview: <p>What this role is all about...</p> <p>Under general direction, the HR Business Partner is responsible for building and maintaining a valued business advisor relationship with assigned business area(s).&nbsp; The HR Business Partner also assists in the achievement of client&rsquo;s organizational strategy and enhancement of operational performance by applying human resource expertise and a comprehensive understanding of the business.</p>
Responsibilities: <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.&nbsp; Other duties may be assigned.</p> <ol> <li>Build and maintain strong relationships with business area leadership.</li> <li>Maintain a thorough understanding of assigned business area(s) and their strategies.</li> <li>Partner with business area leadership in the development and implementation of corporate, business area and human resources strategies.</li> <li>Partner with business area leadership on strategic consulting, resolution, and implementation support on an array of topics including but not limited to: organizational design and effectiveness, change management, cultural management, reward and recognition, workforce planning, learning and development, recruiting and retention, and overall talent management.</li> <li>Monitor and analyze data and trends to identify opportunities, issues, and needs that may impact business results.</li> <li>Partner with peers, associates, and Shared Services (e.g. Compensation, Employee Benefits) to create and implement solutions that assist in the achievement of business goals and strategic objectives.</li> <li>Implement, monitor, and measure results of broad based human resource initiatives.</li> <li>Maintain knowledge of human resources functions (e.g., Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Employee Benefits, Employee/Labor relations and related HR service areas).</li> </ol>
Requirements: <p>Education and experience successful candidates have...</p> <ol> <li>Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or related area required.</li> <li>Minimum of ten (10) years of broad HR experience or related leadership experience in a medium to large sized corporate setting is preferred.</li> <li>Knowledge of and experience in project planning and the related software is preferred.</li> </ol> <p>Other skills and abilities the right candidates bring...</p> <ol> <li>Possess the ability to establish relationships with both the client and HR servicing areas to deliver effective and timely client business solutions.</li> <li>Strong project&nbsp;management skills which include issue identification, documentation, and status reporting.</li> <li>Excellent analytical, organizational, problem resolution, presentation, and verbal and written communication skills.</li> <li>Proficient in current industry standard PC applications (e.g. Microsoft Office) and systems.</li> <li>Other related skills and/or abilities may be required to perform this job.</li> </ol>
