Overview: <p style="margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;">The Manager, HRIS, Reporting and Analytics administers and coordinates the development and operation of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan's&nbsp;Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), reporting and analytics.&nbsp;</p>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Manage functional activities of the department including but not limited to strategic planning, problem solving, staff selection and development, training, performance reviews, disciplinary actions and communication.</li> <li>Collaborate with HR and the business, determine information needs, continuously improving processes and systems, delivering application and reporting functionality that aligns with the business needs of the organization.</li> <li>Lead HRIS projects, assist in creating and presenting business cases when appropriate, developing and executing project plans, and delivering results within targeted timeframes and within budget.</li> <li>Monitor on-going maintenance of HRIS applications including needs analysis, project planning, capacity planning, requirement specification, vendor selection, customization, testing, training and implementation.</li> <li>Provide oversight of testing, training, documentation, implementation and improvement plans, and new applications to various systems.</li> <li>Support the timely, efficient and accurate processing of payroll, benefit administration and administration of Human Resource programs and practices.</li> <li>Establish necessary controls and checks to insure data and system integrity is maintained.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or related area is required or equivalent work and leadership experience in the field of HRIS.&nbsp;</li> <li>A minimum of ten (10) years progressively responsible experience in Human Resources Information Systems, including experience in a leadership role.</li> <li>A minimum 10 years PeopleSoft or related HCM systems experience. Saas / Cloud experience a plus.</li> <li>A minimum 5 years reporting platform experience with Oracle BI, or related reporting tools e.g. Cognos, Microsoft BI or Tableau.</li> <li>Advanced knowledge of HRIS systems including technology and business applications, development methodology, programming languages, databases and operating systems related to Human Resources.</li> <li>Excellent analytical, organizational, problem resolution, verbal and written communication skills.</li> <li>Ability to work effectively in a team environment, including effective management and people skills.</li> <li>Other related skills and/or abilities may be required to perform this job.</li> </ul>
