Competitive Total Compensation Package

Overview: <p>This position will support Middle and Small Group Segment Performance.</p> <p>Responsible for assisting and supporting management in the evaluation, recommendation, establishment, implementation and analysis of market, membership, financial and prospect information.</p>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Identify, plan, develop, modify and implement new or existing reports as assigned.</li> <li>Analyze data and information; plan, design and implement analytical projects and studies of the</li> <li>sales and financial markets.</li> <li>Conduct membership trend analysis and ongoing competitive assessment of various business and market segments, customers, prospects, providers and competitors to identify opportunities and threats.</li> <li>Coordinate and provide technical support for membership forecasting, sales planning and sales incentive program.</li> <li>Responsive for qualifying new and existing businesses prospects for BCBSM health care coverage.</li> <li>Other duties may be assigned.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in Business, Mathematics, Information Systems or related area preferred.</li> <li>Two (2) year&rsquo;s experience in an analytical, research or management information position in service, health or sales related industry required. Project planning and familiarity with the client server environment preferred</li> <li>Knowledge of competitors, health care pricing and product development, market research methods and techniques, statistical analysis and market planning.</li> <li>Knowledge and use of existing software packages.</li> <li>Strong problem solving, presentation, analytical and communication skills.</li> <li>Other related skills and/or abilities may be required to perform this job.</li> </ul> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Department Requirements:</span></p> <ul> <li>Proficient in Excel.</li> <li>Excellent analytical skills.</li> <li>Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.</li> <li>Experience working with financial data preferred.</li> </ul>
