Competitive Total Compensation Package

Overview: Responsible for managing the relationship and execution of contract activities with BCBSM/BCN Service Operations customer service vendors. The VRM integrates the vendors into the BCBSM/BCN organization and monitors their ongoing performance. VRM is responsible for implementing the overall sourcing strategy and monitors all activities.<br /> <br />Responsible to plan, organize, direct, control, and lead assigned business unit; specialize in development, planning, and leadership; operate within broad objectives to ensure optimum utilization of capital, manpower, and equipment for the assigned business unit.
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Manage overall vendor relationship.</li> <li>Manage vendor management team.</li> <li>Work with Procurement to draft contractual language, as well as find and negotiate pricing with external service providers.</li> <li>Manage the procurement of vendor services, selection of vendors, review, and contract approval.</li> <li>Develops processes and procedures to drive Vendor Management efficiencies.</li> <li>Prepares detailed vendor assessments, analyzing vendor performance to evaluate compliance, quality assurance and service levels and ensures corrective action is taken, where necessary. Drives vendor performance through the management of BCBSM/BCN extended site visits, agent and supervisor focus groups, live and recorded call monitoring sessions, incentives and best practice sharing.</li> <li>Plans, develops, and administers customer service programs in adherence with Blue Cross Association customer service objectives.</li> <li>Develops and implements company policies, procedures, standards, and goals.</li> <li>Conducts regular meetings with Vendor&rsquo;s Management teams to maintain two-way communication and achievement of BCBSM/BCN outsourcing objectives.</li> <li>Partners with vendor and internal segment leaders to identify performance improvement opportunities in the contact center by facilitating vendor development activities, implementing new and creative performance incentives and by ensuring that consistent and effective resource management is happening within the vendor sites</li> <li>Travels to in-state and out-of-state BCBSM/BCN customer service vendor locations for site assessments and performance reviews multiple times per year</li> <li>Manage activities of a department including but not limited to planning, problem solving, staff development and communication.</li> <li>Execute function/area objectives that support continuous improvement.</li> <li>Manage professional, exempt, and non-exempt non-bargaining and bargaining unit employees. Responsible for special projects and/or problem resolutions.</li> <li>Provide effective and efficient solutions to complex business problems.</li> <li>Provide high level oversight and leadership.</li> <li>Other Duties may be assigned.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Strong ability to design and deliver executive presentations</li> <li>Ability to present complex information clearly and concisely to varying audiences</li> <li>Ability to analyze data using various applications, i.e. Excel</li> <li>Project management skills</li> <li>Bachelor's Degree in related field required. Master's Degree in related field considered a plus.</li> <li>Five (5) to ten (10) years experience in related field including experience in a leadership role.</li> <li>Ability to work under general direction.</li> <li>Ability to work effectively in a team environment.</li> <li>Good analytical, organizational, planning, verbal and written communication skills.</li> <li>Other related skills and/or abilities may be required to perform this job.</li> </ul> <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS</strong></span><br /><br />If an employee is selling/negotiating rates as part of the duties and responsibilities of this job, the following licenses are required within 90 days of the employee's start date or the license expiration date.
