Competitive Total Compensation Package

Overview: <p>The Sales Analyst will support Large Group and Auto Customer markets in addition to the incentive programs associated with the account teams that manage this market. This position will provide territory code management and reporting and coordinate all incentives based on the respective account management tier and programs.</p>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Responsible for assisting and supporting management in the evaluation, recommendation, establishment, implementation and analysis of market, membership, financial and prospect information.</li> <li>Identify, plan, develop, modify and implement new or existing reports as assigned.</li> <li>Analyze data and information; plan, design and implement analytical projects and studies of the</li> <li>sales and financial markets.</li> <li>Conduct membership trend analysis and ongoing competitive assessment of various business and market segments, customers, prospects, providers and competitors to identify opportunities and threats.</li> <li>Coordinate and provide technical support for membership forecasting, sales planning and sales incentive program.</li> <li>Responsive for qualifying new and existing businesses prospects for BCBSM health care coverage.</li> <li>Other duties may be assigned.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in Business, Mathematics, Information Systems or related area preferred.</li> <li>Two (2) years experience in an analytical, research or management information position in service, health or sales related industry required. Project planning and familiarity with the client server environment preferred</li> <li>Knowledge of competitors, health care pricing and product development, market research methods and techniques, statistical analysis and market planning.</li> <li>Knowledge and use of existing software packages.</li> <li>Strong problem solving, presentation, analytical and communication skills.</li> <li>Other related skills and/or abilities may be required to perform this job.</li> </ul> <p><br /><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Department Requirements:</span></p> <ul> <li>Experience with penetration reporting for the large group market to identify areas of opportunity.</li> <li>Building and administering SharePoint Sites is essential.</li> <li>Experience using SMART to run reports and update customer information.</li> <li>Working knowledge of the SAS system.</li> <li>Ability to perform market research.</li> <li>Strong communication along with reporting and analytical capabilities are preferred.</li> <li>Must have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage complex program discussion with account management personnel of various subsegments and responsibility.</li> </ul>
