Overview: We are currently seeking a highly skilled, experienced Compliance Manager with knowledge of relevant regulations and expertise in compliance processes sufficient to assist the organization in understanding and addressing legal obligations, and promote organizational integrity through the operation of effective compliance programs. The successful candidate will be familiar with the seven elements of an effective compliance program, risk management, an excellent communicator, and well versed in industry&rsquo;s standards for auditing and monitoring. This role will also lead and contribute to key departmental responsibilities.&nbsp;
Responsibilities: <ul> <li> <div align="left"><span style="font-size: small;">Develop, implement and administer compliance monitoring programs, risk assessment and compliance controls monitoring.&nbsp;</span></div> </li> <li> <div align="left"><span style="font-size: small;">Manage compliance reviews and enterprise-wide compliance evaluations. Provide analysis, process flows, written reports and documentation.</span></div> </li> <li> <div align="left"><span style="font-size: small;">Coordinate with business areas (e.g. Federal Programs Business Unit, Information Services Security, Enterprise Security, etc.) to develop and update content for new and on-going training and awareness programs.</span></div> </li> <li> <div align="left"><span style="font-size: small;">Develop detailed plans to address complex compliance issues by identifying goals, objectives and risks to achieving compliance objectives. Coordinate with business areas to implement corrective action plans when needed.</span></div> </li> <li> <div align="left"><span style="font-size: small;">Investigate compliance and control issues to resolve complex problems and make recommendations to business leaders and employees to ensure on-going compliance.</span></div> </li> <li> <div align="left"><span style="font-size: small;">Review and analyze new and existing regulations (e.g. HIPAA, Medicare, and PPACA), and coordinate with legal staff to provide opinions on compliance issues. Maintain knowledge of regulations impacting the company and industry.</span></div> </li> <li> <div align="left"><span style="font-size: small;">Assist key stakeholders with implementation of requirements and validate compliance requirements during on-going reviews.</span></div> </li> <li> <div align="left"><span style="font-size: small;">Develop compliance communications (e.g. web site, content, g-memo articles, presentations etc.) for various audiences as needed.</span></div> </li> <li> <div align="left"><span style="font-size: small;">Manage and measure staff performance and deliverables.</span></div> </li> <li> <div align="left"><span style="font-size: small;">Represent director, as necessary, in meetings and discussions with key stakeholders (e.g. committees, conference calls, etc.).</span></div> </li> <li> <div align="left"><span style="font-size: small;">Obtain and maintain credentials necessary for certification as a compliance professional.</span></div> </li> </ul> <div align="left"><strong><span style="font-size: small;">Responsible to plan, organize, direct, control, and lead assigned business unit; specialize in development, planning, and leadership; operate within broad objectives to ensure optimum utilization of capital, manpower, and equipment for the assigned business unit.</span></strong></div> <ul> <li> <div align="left"><span style="font-size: small;">Manage activities of a department including but not limited to planning, problem solving, staff development and communication.</span></div> </li> <li> <div align="left"><span style="font-size: small;">Execute function/area objectives that support continuous improvement.</span></div> </li> <li> <div align="left"><span style="font-size: small;">Manage professional, exempt, and non-exempt non-bargaining and bargaining unit employees. Responsible for special projects and/or problem resolutions.</span></div> </li> <li> <div align="left"><span style="font-size: small;">Provide effective and efficient solutions to complex business problems.</span></div> </li> <li> <div align="left"><span style="font-size: small;">Provide high level oversight and leadership.</span></div> </li> <li> <div align="left"><span style="font-size: small;">Other duties may be assigned.&nbsp;</span></div> </li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in related field required.
