Competitive Compensation and Benefits Package

Overview: <p><span style="font-size: small;">Serve as a liaison between the business areas and the IT organization to provide technical solutions required for the achievement of business goals. Collect, analyze, develop, document, and communicate business requirements. Support several moderately complex business processes within one or more business functions.</span></p>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li> <div><span style="font-size: small;">Conduct data gathering and analysis to understand business strategy requirements.&nbsp; Provide direction for short and long-term planning sessions and provide direction to ensure understanding of business goals and direction. Provide input from a business and IT perspective.</span></div> </li> <li> <div><span style="font-size: small;">Assess client needs utilizing a structured requirements process (gathering, analyzing, documenting, and managing changes) to assist in identifying business priorities and advice on options.</span></div> </li> <li> <div><span style="font-size: small;">Develop, write, and communicate business requirements and functional specifications for the implementation of business solutions.&nbsp;</span></div> </li> <li> <div><span style="font-size: small;">Analyze customer&rsquo;s operations to understand their strengths and weaknesses to determine opportunities for improvements.</span></div> </li> <li> <div><span style="font-size: small;">Assist in the business process redesign and documentation as needed for new technology. Provide factual content to feasibility study for standard development projects and enhancements and assistance in business case development (i.e., research, data collection), as needed. Develop user test cases and system integration testing and validate test results during testing.&nbsp; Review and approve test plans and monitor the testing process to ensure that business results are adequately tested with minimal risk, as needed.</span></div> </li> <li> <div><span style="font-size: small;">Investigate, resolve, and escalate problems.&nbsp; Procure technical assistance to help in problem resolution.</span></div> </li> <li> <div><span style="font-size: small;">Keep customers informed of problems, issues, and status.&nbsp; Analyze performance metrics to ensure customer satisfaction.&nbsp; Manage customers&rsquo; expectation.</span></div> </li> <li> <div><span style="font-size: small;">Coach and transfer knowledge to less experienced team members.</span></div> </li> <li> <div><span style="font-size: small;">Other duties may be assigned.</span></div> </li> </ul> <span style="font-size: small;">Departmental Preferences</span><br /> <ul> <li> <div><span style="font-size: small;">Represent HPB in Performance Office project reviews</span></div> </li> <li> <div><span style="font-size: small;">Support business project alignment between WAVE and CIMS</span></div> </li> <li> <div><span style="font-size: small;">Pull data, analyze, and prepare executive reports on projects status</span></div> </li> <li> <div><span style="font-size: small;">Support Annual HPB IT Strategy initiatives</span></div> </li> <li> <div><span style="font-size: small;">Provide insight into IT process improvement</span></div> </li> </ul>
Requirements: <p><span style="font-size: small;"><strong>EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE</strong></span></p> <ul> <li><span style="font-size: small;">Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: small;">Three (3) years of relevant technical or business work experience required.</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-size: small;"><strong>OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES</strong></span></p> <ul> <li><span style="font-size: small;">Basic knowledge of business operations and systems requirement processes.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: small;">Demonstrated technical, analytical, systems skills.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: small;">Display innovation in identifying, proposing, and overseeing the execution of business solutions.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: small;">Written and verbal communication skills interpersonal skills.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: small;">Ability to work independently, or within a team environment.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: small;">Other related skills and/or abilities may be required to perform this job.</span></li> </ul>
