Competitive Total Compensation Package

Overview: <p><strong>Administer the identification, assessment and monitoring of priority enterprise risks including quantification of risk exposures and assist with scenario modeling necessary for regulatory filings.&nbsp; Responsible for oversight of regular governance risk reporting to corporate and board of directors' committees.&nbsp; Support and guide executive risk owners in the development of sub-risks, review of mitigation plans, identification of gaps and establishment/monitoring of key risk indicators.</strong></p>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Support priority risk owners in development of sub-risks, evaluation of mitigation plans, gap identification and development of risk appetite, tolerance and key indicators.</li> <li>Enhance the current management process to conduct risk exposure analysis, risk quantification and robust scenario analysis for required regulatory filings.</li> <li>Oversee regular risk reporting activities to senior management and related committees including development of new reporting templates and dashboards.</li> <li>Partner with business segments and functional areas to formally integrate, embed and align risk management vision and strategies in order to meet regulatory requirements.</li> <li>Develop and direct senior management workflow process to facilitate cross functional management of risks and identification of risk interdependencies.</li> <li>Independently lead process to identify, assess and monitor priority enterprise risks and conduct annual refresh with full engagement of all senior executive risk stakeholders.</li> <li>Demonstrate strong leadership skills, initiative, rigorous attention to detail and corporate values.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business or related field required.&nbsp; Master's Degree in related field preferred.&nbsp;</li> <li>Three (3) years risk management experience.</li> <li>Five (5) years related Finance or Business experience required.&nbsp; Healthcare or insurance plan experience preferred.</li> <li>Excellent analytical, organization, planning and written/verbal communication skills.</li> <li>Ability to work effectively in team environment with multiple priorities and tight deadlines.</li> <li>Ability to effectively present to executives and build relationships with key leaders.</li> <li>Ability to develop and quantify risk exposures, identify and develop key risk-related metrics, risk scenarios and stress tests.</li> <li>Knowledge and understanding of actuarial concepts.</li> <li>Broad and deep knowledge of BCBSM business operations, history, annual and long-term goals and organizational structure.</li> <li>Other related skills and/or abilities may be required to perform this job.</li> </ul> <p>KEY - Must have extensive project management experience.</p>
