Competitive Total Compensation Package

Overview: <p>Responsible for providing integrated multi-year Health Plan Business reporting of financial plans across the business unit relative to pricing, budget and long targets.&nbsp; Creation of presentations on business unit performance against plan for the President of HPB, various executive level committees, and the Board of Directors'.&nbsp; Ensure development of common integrated financial processes/projects/initiatives across segments and functional areas to provide analytics and process improvements.</p>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Collaborate with business partners to manage financial planning for HPB to provide support and consolidated reporting of P&amp;L processes (i.e. budget, capital plan, strategic planning and performance management).</li> <li>Development of common integrated financial processes and timelines across HPB segments including adherence to timely deliverables of enterprise finance required reporting.</li> <li>Manage activities related to the preparation of various financial reports (i.e. enterprise close, monthly business reviews, etc.) including&nbsp;those presented to the President of HPB, the CFO and various board and committees of the enterprise.</li> <li>Develop world class process maps that drive ongoing analysis of key processes to identify opportunities that drive efficiency, increasing role clarity and define responsibilities.</li> <li>Use results of analysis to implement financial metrics/measures and identify trends ad benchmarks based upon best practices.</li> <li>Monitor economic and industry developments to anticipate and plan for impacts to the organization.</li> <li>Coaching team members to achieve expected results.</li> <li>Provide and manage resources for audit support to ensure the effectiveness of internal controls.</li> <li>Other duties may be assigned.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Supervisor Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Manages departmental subordinate supervisors who supervise departmental employees as shown on the organizational chart.</li> <li>Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this unit. Also directly supervises departmental non-supervisory employees.</li> <li>Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.</li> </ul> <p>Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees planning, assigning, and directing work appraising performance rewarding and disciplining employees addressing complaints and resolving problems.</p>
Requirements: <h2>Qualifications</h2> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance or related field required Master's Degree preferred.</li> <li>Five (5) to seven (7) years experience in Finance or related field required.</li> <li>One (1) to three (3) years demonstrated leadership ability required.</li> <li>Three (3) to five (5) years of healthcare and/or insurance plan experience preferred.</li> <li>Working knowledge of financial transactions flow and their financial statements impact.</li> <li>General knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Statutory Accounting Principles (SAP).</li> <li>Certification (CPA, CMA, CFM) preferred.</li> <li>Ability to work effectively in team environment and with multiple priorities and certain deadlines.</li> <li>Excellent&nbsp;written and verbal communication skills.</li> <li>Excellent problem solving, interpersonal, and organization skills.</li> <li>High proficiency in current industry standard PC applications and systems (e.g., Word, Excel and PowerPoint).</li> <li>Other related skills and/or abilities may be required to perform this job.</li> </ul> <strong>Project Management Certification (CAPM, PMP, PgMP) a plus.</strong>
