Overview: <p><strong>The Instructional Designer will support the sales force area by designing and developing training materials in a variety of delivery methods (classroom, self-study, webinar, and eLearning) as well as user documentation (user guides, reference materials, job aids, etc.). Training topics will include soft skill (for example sales skills, customer service) as well as technical (for example new systems) and must result in improved performance of the audience.</strong></p>
Responsibilities: <p>Create high-end training solutions for implementation of sales development interventions in order to streamline and maximize business and human performance.&nbsp; Design high-end training solutions, utilizing industry best practices for course design and delivery.&nbsp;Collaborate with business partners and existing resources to develop a solid understanding of business&nbsp;procedures and operations; develop a wide range of training materials and other performance support tools.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Create storyboards, scripts, course content and sales forces directions in a variety of formats.&nbsp;Conduct post instruction outcome evaluations to measure effectiveness of training programs and make&nbsp;adjustments to improve value to the participants as required.&nbsp;Establish baseline delivery systems for training.&nbsp; Employ appropriate technology to provide an effective and cost efficient learning event.&nbsp;Monitor participation and retention of staff in the managed curriculum and E-Learning courses.&nbsp;Develop soft skill and product based curriculum for sales force and post training support mechanisms&nbsp;aimed at evaluating the success of the training designed or created.&nbsp;Identify organizational knowledge and skill gaps utilizing focus groups, SME interviews, classroom&nbsp;observations, etc.&nbsp;Perform other duties as required.</p>
Requirements: <h2>Qualifications</h2> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Development, Instructional Design, Education or related area required.&nbsp;Master's Degree preferred.</li> <li>Three (3) to five (5) related experience required including soft-skill curriculum development.</li> <li>Industry knowledge and sales training experience preferred.</li> <li>Familiar with LMS and tools such as Lector and Captivate.</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to develop sales training curriculum.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Excellent oral and written communication skills with emphasis on presentation of material.</li> <li>Ability to create learning events that fill organizational knowledge gaps based on needs assessments.</li> <li>Other related skills and/or abilities may be required to perform this job.</li> </ul>
