Manager

Competitive Total Compensation Package

Overview: <ul> <li><span style="font-size: small;">Manage activities of the design team including but not limited to planning, problem solving, staff development training, performance assessment, selection, discipline and communication. </span></li> <li><span style="font-size: small;">Create a partnership with internal executive teams to develop competency models and design a technical sales training strategy to meet business objectives and a sales curriculum.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: small;">Participate in corporate workgroups and committees to promote needs of Agents, Managing Agents and internal sales staff.</span></li> </ul>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li><span style="font-size: small;">Responsible for personal growth and development in Training and Development including current technology and consulting practices. </span></li> <li><span style="font-size: small;">Review vendor proposals, monitor quality of material, manage cost and assess effectiveness.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: small;">Solve complex technical problems, develop and recommend new alternatives. </span></li> <li><span style="font-size: small;">Establish and maintain design standards and processes; ensure timely delivery of training programs.&nbsp; </span></li> <li><span style="font-size: small;">Create and manage design project plans using sound project management techniques.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: small;">Build and manage key relationships with Sales, subject matter experts and other project team members.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: small;">Identify and manage course and program updates and revisions.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; </span></li> <li><span style="font-size: small;">Perform other related duties as required. </span></li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li><span style="font-size: small;">Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Education/Instructional Design, Performance Management or related area required.&nbsp; Master's Degree in related field preferred.&nbsp; </span></li> <li><span style="font-size: small;">Five (5) to ten (10) years experience in training design or related area and experience in a leadership role. </span></li> <li><span style="font-size: small;">Five (5) years of significant sales force development experience required.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: small;">Demonstrated experience with Captivate, Lectora, Microsoft Office and learning management systems.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: small;">Experience with the ADDIE model, Kilpatrick&rsquo;s levels of evaluation and adult learning theories. </span></li> <li><span style="font-size: small;">Excellent analytical, organizational, problem resolution, verbal, listening and written communication skills.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: small;">Ability to work effectively with sales (internal and external) in a team environment and communicate technical information.&nbsp; </span></li> <li><span style="font-size: small;">Thorough business knowledge including market opportunities, industry and competitive forces, organizational capabilities, financial management and sales force operational management. </span></li> <li><span style="font-size: small;">Deep understanding of human performance theories, tools and practices.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: small;">Proven track record of delivering high quarterly business results.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: small;">Proven ability to design instructor-led and self-paced training courses.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: small;">Proven ability to manage complex training development and design projects.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: small;">Other related skills and/or abilities may be required to perform this job.</span></li> </ul>
