Corporate Planning Manager

This key role will provide leadership within the enterprise, partnering with business leaders to determine how to translate strategy into investments that support BCBSM&rsquo;s competitive position, achieve positive business results, and improve the health of our customers.&nbsp; </span>

Responsibilities: <div class="full-text ng-binding"> <ul> <li> <div><span style="font-size: small;">Maintain a point of view on where the health care industry is headed, and provide a perspective on how BCBSM should respond in light of changing industry trends</span></div> </li> <li> <div><span style="font-size: small;">Lead the business through annual capital planning process, helping to build business cases that garner investment</span></div> </li> <li> <div><span style="font-size: small;">Act as a thought partner to enterprise leadership in the development and prioritization of &nbsp;business initiatives that support enterprise strategic objectives and create value, requiring the ability to influence and change the mindset of, or gain acceptance of others</span></div> </li> <li> <div><span style="font-size: small;">Understand the economic and financial drivers of our business, and help articulate that financial perspective within business plans</span></div> </li> <li> <div><span style="font-size: small;">Create executive level presentations and correspondence to communicate recommendations to leadership </span></div> </li> </ul> </div>
Requirements: <ul> <li> <div><span style="font-size: small;">Bachelor's Degree in Business, Health Policy, or related field required. Master&rsquo;s Degree in related field strongly preferred.</span></div> </li> <li> <div><span style="font-size: small;">5+ years of experience in related field required.</span></div> </li> <li> <div><span style="font-size: small;">Health care industry experience and/or previous experience in management consulting, investment banking, policy, or corporate strategy at a complex organization required.</span></div> </li> <li> <div><span style="font-size: small;">Demonstrated leadership and management experience preferred, including experience working on cross-functional teams.</span></div> </li> </ul>
