Overview: Overview &amp; Objectives<br /> <ul> <li>Gain a clear understanding of the administration of Employee Benefits and Wellness programs</li> <li>Assist in planning, coordinating and delivering the BWell Wellness program (and participate in Wellness events i.e. advisory committee meetings, new hire orientations, etc.)</li> <li>Develop relationships and partner with other departments (as needed) such as Corporate Communications, Community Responsibility and Marketing</li> <li>Work with external vendors</li> </ul>
Responsibilities: Assignments &amp; Responsibilities<br /> <ul> <li>Assist with 2018 Blue Points rewards program</li> <li>Coordinate the fall walking program challenge for employees/spouses</li> <li>Assist with implementing Q3 and Q4 wellness initiatives</li> <li>Oversee on-site blood drives (including communications) for multiple locations</li> <li>Monthly updates to the on-line BWell wellness site</li> </ul>
Requirements: Required &amp; Preferred Skills<br /> <br />Wellness Health Promotion major with Health and Wellness work experience preferred. Candidate in Junior standing recommended. Desired GPA: 3.0 and above. Desired skills and competencies include:<br /> <ul> <li>Well organized</li> <li>Good written and oral communication skills</li> <li>Able to handle multiple projects at once</li> <li>Passion and excitement for health and wellness</li> <li>Experience with Microsoft applications such as PowerPoint and Excel.</li> </ul>
