Overview: In this internship, you'll be part of at least one major project that involves a mathematical model or complex data mining assignment that creates key findings for the organization.&nbsp;
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Interpret analytical results using a variety of techniques, ranging from simple data aggregation via statistical analysis to complex data mining</li> <li>Work with business/technical resources to identify analytical requirements</li> <li>Complete an internship project that is well documented and repeatable</li> <li>Write and publish progress reports, identify project milestones, and recommend needed modifications</li> <li>Be accountable and responsible for work assignments</li> <li>Participate in meetings and present in front of the group when necessary</li> <li>Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned</li> </ul>
Requirements: <p>Preferred Major(s):<br /> Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics</p> <p>Preferred and Minimum Candidate Standing:<br /> 3.2 GPA and In Good Academic Standing; 3.4+ GPA preferred</p> <p>Desired skills, competencies and experience:</p> <ul> <li>Healthcare experience (preferred, not required)</li> <li>Advanced mathematic or statistical background</li> <li>Programming experience</li> <li>Experience using statistical software such as SAS E-Miner and R</li> <li>Preferred Work Experience:</li> <li>At least 1 year of work experience in a corporate or academic setting preferred</li> </ul>
