Overview: As the&nbsp;Corporate and Financial Investigations intern, you will help Blue Cross identify potential fraud and develop supporting documentation for investigations.&nbsp; If you're a student that has a&nbsp;knack for digging into data and recognizing when things don't look quite right, this may be the internship for you.
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Identify and analyze anomalies or patterns in billing data.</li> <li>Compile data and prepare cases in support of identifying potential fraud or abuse.</li> <li>Leverage project management skills to track progress.</li> <li>Summarize investigation findings and create reports for leadership.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Currently pursuing Bachelor's or Master's degree, Finance program is preferred.</li> <li>Experience with data analysis.</li> <li>Familiarity with medical coding and billing&nbsp;/ claims is preferred.</li> <li>Familiarity with medical terminology is preferred.</li> <li>Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).</li> </ul>
