Overview: <p>Are you a Master's student or PhD candidate pursuing an education in public health? Spend the summer with the Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan Foundation! The Foundation supports research to help improve the health of Michigan residents and provides grants for organizations who share the same goal. As part of the grant program team, you'll evaluate grant proposals for students, physicians and clinics, nonprofit organizations and researchers. Use your public health education to make a real difference in Michigan!</p>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Assist with evaluation of applications for all grant programs for the July 2019 and November 2019 grant committee meetings.</li> <li>Assist with the creation of RFP topics, applications, web meetings and evaluation guidelines.</li> <li>Develop grantee site protocol and conduct grant site visits.</li> <li>Assist with developing new innovative strategies for funding collaboratives.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <p><strong><u>Required &amp; Preferred Skills</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Pursuing Master's degree in public health or is a Ph.D. candidate in a public health discipline.</li> </ul>
