Paid Internship

Overview: <p>Experiential learning&nbsp;by evaluating buying requests, ensuring that requirements are provided and following up for additional details and providing status, as necessary. The intern will be performing basic cost analysis and routing buying activities in accordance with established practices and policies</p> <ul> <li>Facilitate buying process through evaluation of requests and routing to in-house subject matter experts.</li> <li>Learn&nbsp;authoritative answers.</li> </ul>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Facilitate buying process through evaluation of requests and routing to in-house subject matter experts.</li> <li>Develop strong customer facing skills and grow to be a subject matter expert in procurement issues.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <p><strong><u>Required &amp; Preferred Skills</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Preferred Candidate will be able to work full time during the Fall of 2019 and Winter of 2019.</li> <li>Education in supply chain management or similar degree.</li> <li>Intermediate skill level with Microsoft Office.</li> <li>Beginner skill with decision making, problem solving, critical thinking.</li> <li>Intermediate skills with customer service, team work, accuracy and attention to detail.</li> </ul>
