Overview: <span class="text" title=""><span class="text" title=""><span style="font-size: small;">The Strategic Intelligence Manager will provide leadership in the planning, design, and evaluation of enterprise-level Strategic Intelligence projects and manage deliverables that support BCBSM&rsquo;s competitive position and improve the health of our customers and our enterprise. <br /><br /></span></span></span> <div><span style="font-size: small;">As part of the Strategic Intelligence team you will spend the majority of your time conducting research, performing analyses, modeling scenarios, and creating presentations for executive and Board level audiences. The Strategic Intelligence Manager role requires close collaboration with various stakeholders in the business and executive leadership to help assess intelligence information, develop points of view, and solicit organizational buy-in. Many of your ideas will become a reality and have a major impact at BCBSM. </span></div> <div><span style="font-size: small;">&nbsp;</span></div> <div><span style="font-size: small;">This position reports directly to the Director of Strategy and Performance Management. Responsibilities: <div><strong><span style="font-size: small;">ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES </span></strong><span style="font-size: small;">include the following. Other duties may be assigned.</span></div> <ol> <li> <div><span style="font-size: small;">Maintain a point of view on where the health care industry is headed, and provide a perspective on how BCBSM should respond in light of changing industry trends</span></div> </li> <li> <div><span style="font-size: small;">Conduct timely research, produce quality deliverables, and identify opportunities to contribute strategic intelligence perspectives to the business</span></div> </li> <li> <div><span style="font-size: small;">Oversee and perform analyses including, but not limited to, financial modeling, claims analysis, case studies, competitor analysis, and complex statistical analysis</span></div> </li> <li> <div><span style="font-size: small;">Act as a thought partner to enterprise leadership both in the development and prioritization of long-term strategies and in the assessment of market impacts on the business, requiring the ability to influence and change the mindset of, or gain acceptance of others</span></div> </li> <li> <div><span style="font-size: small;">Create executive level presentations and correspondence to communicate recommendations to executive leadership and the Board of Directors</span></div> </li> </ol>
