This key role will provide leadership within the enterprise, partnering with executives to determine long-term strategies that support BCBSM&rsquo;s competitive position, achieve positive and sustainable business results, and improve the health of our customers and the enterprise. </span></div> <div><span style="font-size: small;">&nbsp;</span></div> <div><span style="font-size: small;">As part of the Strategic Planning team, you will spend the majority of your time developing strategic frameworks, performing financial analyses, and creating presentations for executive audiences. The Strategic Planning Manager role involves close collaboration with various stakeholders in the business and executive leadership to help inform the planning process and solicit organizational buy-in. Responsibilities: <p style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><strong><span style="font-size: small;">Responsible for making recommendation on highly consequential matters, with long-term implications for the organization including setting enterprise priorities, development of strategies and assessment of strategic investments and partnerships. Consider market trends and changes, identify, prioritize and develop strategies to enable the future statue of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, Blue Care Network and it subsidiaries.</span></strong></p> <p style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-top: 0px;">&nbsp;</p> <p style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><span style="font-size: small;">Manage activities that are directly related to the corporate strategies, goals and objectives. Manage several priority initiatives concurrently. Oversee or perform analyses including, but not limited to, financial modeling, claims analysis and complex statistical analysis. Act as a thought partner to enterprise leadership in the development and prioritization of long-term strategies. Provide solutions to complex business problems and make recommendations to senior management to improve strategic initiatives and technical processes. Develop and maintain systems to monitor, measure, and report performance and achievement of programs, long-term goals and strategic initiatives that have divisional and/or corporate impact. Maintain knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures in related field. Assist executive leadership in developing and approving annual goals and ensure corporate standards are consistently met. Maintain comprehensive understanding of all Blue Cross products, programs, administrative policies and procedures.&nbsp; Provide high level oversight and leadership. Utilize primary and secondary research to assist in identifying best practices and opportunities for the corporation. Create executive level PowerPoint presentations and correspondence to communicate recommendations to executive leadership and the Board of Directors. Convene colleagues and SMEs to foster a collaborative environment in order to stay informed on changes in the healthcare payer and broader healthcare industries that may impact enterprise strategies.</span></p>
