Competitive Compensation and Benefits Package

Overview: The primary function of this role is to manage the relationship with the claims and membership business units, be accountable for all Information Technology (&ldquo;IT&rdquo;) services delivered to these areas and to be responsible for the delivery of transformational initiatives for these areas. This includes: (1) support and coordination in the development of business and IT strategies (2), management and delivery of transformative initiatives, (3) portfolio management for all IT projects serving as a focal point for major issue resolution and (4) communicating with the business for major system impacts to the business operations. This will require collaboration across all of the IT organization.
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Lead the teams that are responsible for transformative program management, portfolio management and day to day activities</li> <li>Accountability for participating in the development and alignment of business strategies to IT strategies</li> <li>Supports the business areas in the development of claims and membership business units related to business strategies</li> <li>Works closely with the claims, membership and possibly other business unit and with the associated IT areas to ensure that business needs are understood and that IT services provided to meet those needs</li> <li>Identifies the drivers, strategies, and needs of clients' operations and leads to internal change to support those operations</li> <li>Performs leadership duties, including performance reviews. Directs, motivates and develops managers and other key personnel who report to them.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Business, Computer Science or Engineering with a master&rsquo;s degree preferred</li> <li>Minimum of ten (10) years of experience including minimum five (5) years of leadership experience </li> <li>Strong leadership, coaching and mentoring skills</li> <li>Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication and presentation skills across organizational boundaries</li> <li>Ability to facilitate problem-solving among a group with varying needs and priorities, and to communicate well with the group and senior management</li> <li>Ability to lead large, cross-functional initiatives across heavily matrixed organizations</li> </ul>
