Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs.</li> <li>Responsible for ensuring the compliance with all regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to management.</li> </ul> <strong>Advertising:</strong><br /> <ul> <li>Coordinate marketing support services to include advertising, public relations, and internal departments.</li> <li>Supports the production of marketing collateral for both print and digital use</li> </ul> <strong>Promotions:</strong><br /> <ul> <li>Resolves guest complaints and disputes, exercising discretion and judgment.</li> <li>Works promotions and events (nights and weekends as necessary).</li> <li>Organizes and executes the regularly scheduled entertainment acts for all performances on property. Monitors calendar for promotions at the property following the strategy of the promotions department. Manages oversight of media used to communicate current and upcoming promotional efforts for the guests, team members, and regulatory agencies.</li> <li>Configures and tests promotional set-up, and creates prizes in ACSC, MGT and other supporting computer programs.</li> <li>Develops promotion and event proposals within defined budgetary and strategic parameters.</li> <li>Upon approval, creates rules and regulations for promotions and events for submission to the Mississippi Gaming Commission.</li> </ul> <strong>Social Media:</strong><br /> <ul> <li>Organizes and coordinates the marketing efforts for all communication efforts for the company in the social media sphere, with a consistent and appropriate voice. Monitors social media and web for opportunities to engage in active and relevant conversations about the property. Supports the property brand on social media as directed by management.</li> </ul> <strong>Special Events:</strong><br /> <ul> <li>Assist in the planning and execution of special events, including but not limited to, concept deign, invitation criteria, event coordination, and interdepartmental communication.</li> <li>Coordinate and track, as needed, groups responding to special and VIP party events. Dress in appropriate uniform/attire based upon event/venue, occasionally a costume may be used.</li> <li>Any and all duties as assigned by the Marketing Manager or other members of management.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <ul> <li>Must be at least 21 years of age.</li> <li>Associates degree (A.A.) in marketing, finance or related area; or equivalent combination of education and experience.</li> <li>One (1) year of related experience required, preferably in Marketing.</li> <li>Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.</li> <li>Technical proficiency and knowledge in MS Office (Word, Excel &amp; Outlook).</li> <li>Possess excellent oral and written communication skills; strong client interface and presentation skills preferred.</li> Demonstrated ability to drive toward results.</ul> </ul> <br /> <div><strong>SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES</strong><br /><br /></div> <div>This job has no supervisory responsibilities.<br /><br /></div> <div><strong>LANGUAGE SKILLS</strong><br /><br /></div> <div>Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations.
