Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Consistently prepares breakfast, lunch, dinner or hors d'oeuvres to standards established by the Executive Chef.</li> <li>Ensures that work area is kept clean and orderly.</li> <li>Must be able to stand for a full shift.</li> <li>Exhibits a friendly, helpful and courteous manner when dealing with customers and fellow cast members.</li> <li>Any and all duties as assigned by your Supervisor or a member of management.</li> </ul>
Requirements: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Must be at least 18 years of age.<br /> <br /> <ul> <li>Knowledge and ability to use all kitchen tools and equipment.</li> <li>High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.</li> <li>Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other cast members of the organization.</li> <li>Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Knowledge of weights, measures and recipe yield.</li> <li>Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.</li> <li>Apprentice for Certification preferred.</li> <li>Ability to identify all products used in kitchen operation. Ability to recognize spoiled or questionable products. Ability to read, comprehend and execute recipes. Ability to successfully complete Cook I tests.</li> <li>While performing the duties of this Job, the cast member is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and taste or smell. The cast member is frequently required to talk or hear. The cast member is occasionally required to walk; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The cast member must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus.</li> <li>While performing the duties of this Job, the cast member is frequently exposed to risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.</li> <li>Must successfully complete ServSafe Alcohol training certification course.</li> </ul>
