Responsibilities: <ul><li>Reports to the Assistant Captain of the Watch any violations of USCG regulations, Louisiana Gaming Commission regulations, or unsafe conditions as it pertains to riverboat gaming.</li><li>Participates in training with the deck crew on emergency procedures, safety, seamanship, and other training.</li><li>Ensures that safety equipment is provided, and appropriate guidelines are followed for all tasks involving physical risk or hazardous materials.</li><li>Responsible for the cleaning of the vessel interior and exterior (focus on detail cleaning, trash removal, and detail cleaning of restrooms).</li><li>Performs various tasks involved in the maintenance and upkeep of vessel and equipment; this includes cleaning.</li><li>esponsible for line handling, adjustment of winches, use of hydraulic ramps, and other tasks related to mooring of the vessel.</li><li>Executes tasks as assigned by the Assistant Captain of the Watch. </li></ul>
Requirements: <ul><li>Previous experience in marine, housekeeping, or janitorial industry preferred.</li><li>Ability to perform duties required during emergencies; mentally and physically able to perform all firefighting duties; CPR and Firefighting training required.</li><li>Must possess excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Must have knowledge regarding proper use of basic hand tools.</li><li>Ability to sustain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.</li><li>Ability to maintain a high level of energy and take a proactive and strategic approach to dealing with issues.</li><li>Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.</li><li>Must have the ability to remain calm in emergency or stressful situations.</li></ul>
