Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Responsible for directing the overall operations and staff of Security, EVS, Facilities, Engineering, Valet and Marine departments.</li> <li>Adheres to and enforce compliance with all regulations established by the Louisiana State Police- Gaming Division, United States Coast Guard, ABS Consulting, OSHA and other applicable agencies pertaining to riverboat gaming and riverboat operations while adhering to the policies and procedures set forth by Boomtown Casino and Hotel.</li> <li>Oversees maintenance of all equipment/systems onboard the riverboat, ensuring all are operational and kept in a state of readiness by using a preventive maintenance schedule.</li> <li>Develops, implements, and manages operational goals and monitors achievements of performance objectives for areas of responsibility.</li> <li>Serves on the executive team as a cross-functional, strategic leader focused on the overall goals of the Property.</li> <li>Tie operational challenges to strategic direction and the ability to be effective in a large organization.</li> <li>Recommends, promotes, and leads the development and execution of capital projects that add value to the Property, Region, and Company. Coordinates all activities with Corporate and Property leadership as well as external stakeholders (project managers, contractors, etc.)&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Provides high levels of guest and team member&nbsp;engagement, satisfaction, and safety by developing and evaluating new and existing programs and practices and adjusting when needed.</li> <li>Assist and provide functional area feedback to Corporate Design and Development and properties with non-gaming projects to include property updates and remodels</li> <li>Serves as a property leader who mentors, trains, counsels, and works closely with all&nbsp;team&nbsp;members&nbsp;across the Property, in collaboration with department heads.</li> <li>Ensures proper cleanliness standards are met, oversees day-to-day cleaning of the property, as well as ensuring deep cleaning activities are performed with minimal impact to operations.&nbsp;</li> <li>Maintains Company property and equipment at peak efficiency ensuring that all utilities and building systems are properly maintained to provide safe, efficient, and reliable service.</li> <li>Identifies and tracks improvements and efficiencies of all equipment.</li> <li>Implements and maintains asset protection programs that mitigate risk and safeguard against theft and other loss issues.&nbsp;</li> <li>Conducts, manages, and/or supervises security-related&nbsp;incidents and&nbsp;investigations.&nbsp;</li> <li>Develops, implement, and maintains a comprehensive set of standards for all physical plants as well as a plan for proper stewardship of all properties. Manages staffing levels daily to maximize productivity and control labor costs without sacrificing customer service or safety of team members and guests.&nbsp;</li> <li>Oversees patrol services of the casino area, parking lot, and any auxiliary areas to look for suspicious or undesirable patrons, minors, and/or safety hazards.</li> <li>Maintains working relationships with law enforcement agencies.&nbsp;</li> <li>Develops and maintains a preventative maintenance program that is cost-effective.</li> <li>Develops, updates, and enforces all Standard Operating Procedures for areas of responsibility.</li> <li>Ensures compliance with all regulatory compliance and OSHA standards within areas of responsibility and report potential issues to Executive Management / GM.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> </ul> <br /> <br /> <br />
Requirements: <ul> <li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in a related field or equivalent years of experience with emphasis in capital projects, project management, security, facilities and engineering.</li> <li>Must have strong problem solving, organizational, analytical, interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written).</li> <li>Must have excellent project and time management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize.&nbsp;</li> <li>Must have technical proficiency and knowledge in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook).&nbsp;</li> <li>Must have current knowledge and understanding of regulations, industry trends, current practices, new developments, and applicable laws.</li> <li>Strong client interface and presentation skills preferred.</li> <li>Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.</li> <li>Must have the ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.</li> <li>Must have the ability to drive results and be proactive when working on tasks.</li> <li>Ability to maintain confidentiality.&nbsp;</li> </ul>
