Overview: <p>Bowers &amp; Wilkins is hiring a Performance Marketing Director to lead the global Performance Marketing team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced marketer to drive multi-channel customer acquisition and conversion efforts. In this role you will oversee acquisition marketing.</p> <p>The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing data-driven media strategies and tactics that drive positive ROI for eCommerce companies. A successful candidate must have experience building and managing an in-house team, as well as demonstrate successful business outcomes from prior experiences across digital media. Additionally, this candidate must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a &ldquo;roll up your sleeves&rdquo; attitude and entrepreneurial spirit.This role is highly visible and will be instrumental in growing the overall business and help shape the next generation of the Bowers &amp; Wilkins brand.</p>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Demonstrated experience in all forms of multi-channel internet marketing and leading the development of digital marketing plans that increase sales, brand awareness, and build engagement.</li> <li>Gains a deep understanding of our customers through research and analysis to influence media strategy.</li> <li>Solid expertise working with and leveraging customer relationship management (CRM) and marketing systems to communicate with prospects and customers.</li> <li>Define, oversee and allocate media budget across Paid Social, Paid Search, Display, Programmatic, Affiliate, Native, email, SEO, and other paid media channels.</li> <li>Identify, test and optimize the best performance marketing channels to drive ROI.</li> <li>Own key marketing reports around pipeline, conversion rates, and campaign performance.</li> <li>Manage tightly defined CAC and volume targets, with daily, weekly, and monthly reporting against KPIs.</li> <li>Forecasts program performance and partners closely with FP&amp;A team.</li> <li>Understand the role of content, not only within marketing channels, but within the consumer journey with an eye towards conversion optimization.</li> <li>Partners with the creative teams and agencies to&nbsp;advise on compelling content for various mediums and channels,&nbsp;develop test ideas, and manage a/b testing assets.</li> <li>Develop and define the global marketing tool kit to help define local expectations, clearly articulating the plan to the channel marketing team.</li> <li>Act as a Center of Excellence for the global markets to help with the implementation of local activations increasing the overall effectiveness of campaigns.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>7+ years of&nbsp;acquisition-oriented consumer marketing experience, ideally in e-commerce.</li> <li>In depth knowledge of performance media with hands-on experience in Paid Social and Paid Search.</li> <li>Intimate experience with ad-serving platforms and digital monitoring solutions including managing and building teams of biddable media buyers.</li> <li>Proven experience leveraging data to impact performance and to more efficiently buy media.</li> <li>Track record of driving exceptional campaign results, specifically, new customer growth</li> <li>Experience managing media budgets and hitting monthly goals for user acquisition, CAC, retention, and other key performance metrics.</li> <li>Deeply analytical and data driven; proficiency with CPA, LTV, A/B testing, promotional strategy, attribution models, and cohort analysis.</li> <li>Strong understanding of GDPR requirements.</li> <li>Sets a high standard for performance and pursues goals with purpose and a sense of urgency.</li> <li>Persists despite set-backs and works to gain acceptance for ideas.</li> <li>Exceptional communication and collaborative skills working in a matrix organization.</li> <li>Understanding of amazon AMS and AMG is a plus but not required.</li> <li>Position requires travel domestically and internationally (approximately 10%).</li> <li>Four-year degree; MBA preferred.</li> </ul>
